June 2011[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions.

January 2016[edit]

Hello, I'm IronGargoyle. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Abrahamic religions seemed less than neutral to me, so I removed it for now. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. IronGargoyle (talk) 21:11, 2 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

February 2017[edit]

Information icon Please refrain from making test edits in Wikipedia pages, such as those you made to New York City, even if you intend to fix them later. Your edits have been reverted. March 2017[edit]

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Salmas. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Magnolia677 (talk) 14:02, 4 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I live here and my sources are all accurate even if I haven't got the time to add them yet or even IF I AM the source! You stop reverting my edits just because you have power but no knowledge, it doesn't give you this right to interfere with people's righteous edits! If I don't do this, though in a slow pace, my city will have just a couple of awful pictures on the net to be introduced by just some ... like you felt like they are wrong and he should block me!

Welcome![edit]

Hello, Hjahangiry, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your recent edits have not conformed to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and has been or will be removed. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or in other media. Always remember to provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles. Additionally, all new biographies of living people must contain at least one reliable source.

If you are stuck and looking for help, please see the guide for citing sources or come to the new contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask a question on your talk page. Again, welcome.  Magnolia677 (talk) 00:17, 5 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • The above links may help you. Please note that unsourced content will get deleted. This is nothing personal, it's just Wikipedia policy. And calling other editors childish names will also not be much help. If you want to improve the article, do some research, add some reliable sources, and before long the article will have improved. I hope this helps. Magnolia677 (talk) 00:22, 5 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I got the point and appreciate that. The fact is that there aren't much sources in English (nor in Persian) on my city and I have to work hard on that while it consumes some good portion of my time. However, I will do my best to do as told; thank you.

PS. the previous name in the message will be removed.

Your edits on Salmas[edit]

Hello. Stop adding empty sections (i.e. section headers with no content) to the article. Continuing to do so, in spite of being reverted twice now, will be seen as disruptive editing. Thank you. - Tom | Thomas.W talk 16:27, 11 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

There are no sources in English nor in Persian (in exclusive sense) about my city so, I have to add information mainly based on my knowledge as a citizen of this city. However, some guy here named Magnolia677 told me not to do so and warned me of being barred from editing on Wikipedia so I have stopped to write unless I come up with a solution to this, meanwhile I'm trying to add some pictures to the sections which I HAD PLAN TO FILL OUT! I am so much skeptical of what to do here and though I may have A LOT to contribute to this page but there isn't any online source which name I could bring in the references; that's pretty much just me!

  • Sorry, but you can't add it if there are no sources for it. But if you do find sources write the sections in your sandbox (instructions here) first, and then copy or move it to the article. - Tom | Thomas.W talk 16:50, 11 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

What the ... is wrong with you Magnolia677?! Seriously?! Perhaps you know Persian that you say my edits are not supported by the sources given and if you know Persian, are you blind?! They are fully supporting it and if I knew where to turn, I would sue your ass for being such a devoid of knowledge ... that has nothing but to use the power button simply to revert! All you have done so far has been to discourage me and even though my edits were perfectly supported by both sources the least this time, you have acted like a jerk to revert them! Are you being revengeful of what I have said before? Could you please bud off and let somebody else revert my edits for once? I will OF COURSE resist your nonsensical reverts even if it means I lose my privileges because if the founder of Wikipedia is like you and/or supports such a (what I just could call) moronic behavior, then it's no privilege to write anything here!

May 2017[edit]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Salmas, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Magnolia677 (talk) 11:32, 21 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • The sources cited did not support your edit. I was unable to find the date you cited on the English link. For the non-English link, using Google translate, the data you cited could not be found. Magnolia677 (talk) 11:34, 21 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
"Date" should have been "data". My error. Magnolia677 (talk) 14:07, 21 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

1. A country's Census center is reliable! Both links are valid and you just know nothing! Both links are valid! 2. Did you think about changing the 'Solar Calendar' date to the dates in 'Gregorian Calendar'? I thought so! Oh, and here is the English headline with the 'Gregorian Calendar' citation for the blind eyes, you ...! "Selected Results of the 2016 National Population and Housing Census" (Check it before reverting!) 3. This is hypocrisy cause I did add and edit Salmas County with the same source and nobody changed it; it's just YOU! 4. Please stop falsely reverting my edits cause someday I might sue your ...! 5. Google Translation?! Really?! Illiteracy of Some + Google Translation = Disaster on Wikipedia!

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for making legal threats or taking legal action. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may request an unblock by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

You are not allowed to edit Wikipedia while the threats stand or the legal action is unresolved.  Dennis Brown - 15:16, 21 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

My reason! All my edits were valid and based on the translated data from a COUNTRY's NATIONAL SOURCE (my country's) I made it clear but a guy named Magnolia677 reverted it claiming he couldn't Google-translatedly find it! "Really?!" I asked him! I believe this guy has done based on no serious search which led to my tempered response of suing him; I didn't mean in any international court yet, perhaps some authority in here, which became the reason of me being blocked! I still sand by my edits which all were valid and this guy (Magnolia677) acted unjustly several times to my edits even when I wanted to work on my city's page to complete it (a page that nobody had bothered to add anything to in years) yet he somehow managed to discourage me by constant reverting my edits. And the last 'revert he made was for a edit that I hadd made in bothe city and county of my place of birth but he reverted one of them only; why?! And When he made me angry by his revert and mistyped, YES 'MISTYPED' FYI, reason, he blocks via administration here and AFTER THAT goes back and edits his 'MISTYPING'!!! REALLY?! How shameful was his act! Please check the dates exactly and check the 2 of the same nature edits I made which were true yet only one got reverted! I wonder if this guy takes a joy in occasionally reverting my edits! Look sir/ma'am, I am not one who does this a lot nor takes it a serious job (I was motivated though but hold back by Magnolia677), all I wanted (and still want to do) is to contribute to my city's Wikipedia page by improving it and make it known a little better. So my appeal is that please 'unblock' me but before that check the facts that I presented here and stop Magnolia677 to ever touch my edits; there are thousands of others and if each one of them reverts my future edits (if any) I will gladly accept and obey that! My reason: to contribute honestly and based on facts and sources and be constructive.

Decline reason:

You are blocked solely for your legal threat; since you have not rescinded your legal threat you will not be unblocked, and not a word you wrote here will be attended to in any way. --jpgordon𝄢𝄆 𝄐𝄇 03:56, 28 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who accepted the request.

Hjahangiry (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

@Jpgordon: My reason for the "legal threat" was @Magnolia677:'s unjust and unreasonable act of constantly reverting my edits, nevertheless, I realize that it oversteps the legal guidelines of Wikipedia (which I didn't have a clue about) and hence, hereby, I rescind my "legal threat". By all means, I sincerely hope Magnolia677 will stop/somebody will stop him reverting my edits unjustly and based on no solid ground!

Accept reason:

You've rescinded your legal threat so you can be unblocked now. I'd urge you to use dispute resolution instead of just reverting in your dispute with Magnolia677. PhilKnight (talk) 01:37, 30 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
