June 2023[edit]

Hello, I'm Adakiko. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Gender inequality in South Korea, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Adakiko (talk) 05:41, 15 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi I thought I added multiple source... Could you please check?

Oh I just realized you didn't remove but you added back the paragraph I deleted. Please read the reference I sent to you earlier as long as these: https://japan-forward.com/why-korean-professor-believes-comfort-women-were-not-sex-slaves/ https://en.wikisource.org/wiki/Japanese_Prisoner_of_War_Interrogation_Report_49 It is far from "slavery" even the US military reported that they went on picnics, movies and shopping on the days off. It was mere wartime prostitution unlike it was claimed by many Korean scholars. Homelele (talk) 05:55, 15 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, I edited again with citation. Please let me know if it's ok now. thx! Homelele (talk) 07:42, 15 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for adding the citations! Where did you send me a reference? I don't see it on my talk page. Quite a few people do recent changes patrol. Removing content without explanation or adding content without a citation will often result in a rapid wp:UNDO. Keeping tabs on numerous articles undergoing editing can be too much. Mind reading doesn't seem to work to well either...
Please do not put citations in section headings. See MOS:SECTIONHEAD. They show up in the ToC and can be confusing. Cheers Adakiko (talk) 09:06, 15 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia has its own rules on capitalization, and do not edit war[edit]

See MOS:JA, MOS:CT and WP:TMRULES. Wikipedia has guidelines on capitalization. We do not stylize names or titles in all caps, and the prose should reflect the article title, which is "Be First" (or "Be:First", as we can't replicate the colon in the title due to technical restrictions). The article had de-stylized text before it was changed by an IP editor several days ago, so WP:BRD applies. Do not edit war. Additionally, you should not be reverting users without explanation for any reason. Thank you. Ss112 06:30, 20 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

It also appears those IP edits made by 38.15.215.6 were you, as you have edited the same topics. I suggest you stay logged in to edit, as editing in tandem with an IP address and a registered account (which gives the impression of two different people) is against WP:SOCKPUPPETRY. Ss112 06:32, 20 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
So does that not capitalizing all letter rule apply to strictly for English-language Wikipedia thing? thanks Homelele (talk) 06:46, 20 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I don't know what the capitalization rules for other language Wikipedia projects are. Also, in future, please do not tell editors via edit summaries that if they disagree with your changes they should consult you first [1]. An editor is totally within their rights to revert you without having to inform you they disagree or leave a note on your talk page or the article talk page. Editors do not have "more right" to do something on an article than another editor; that would be against WP:OWN. Ss112 08:23, 20 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, thank for letting me know of these rules. I will refrain to say such in the edit comments. From your message, it sounded like we are not supposed to revert back again before discussing with the person who made a change and I also thought it would be better if someone did ask me why I made a changes, in this case, my changes to include "." and remove spaces in between the words on the song names were all reverted back without checking the original sources. But yes, I will go ahead and revert them back anything if deemed to be necessary but with more detailed explanation next time. Thanks again! Homelele (talk) 09:46, 20 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
