Welcome!

Hello, Hossy1992, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on discussion pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. Your recent edits[edit]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 16:38, 16 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Paravar[edit]

Why not let this be settled on the talk page, where we already have a discussion going, instead of edit warring? There are other people involved and if you give them a few hours then they will probably have their say. Thanks. - Sitush (talk) 16:53, 16 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Fair enough.

Great, thanks. - Sitush (talk) 17:00, 16 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

March 2011[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Paravar. Users are expected to collaborate with others and avoid editing disruptively.

In particular, the three-revert rule states that:

  1. Making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period is almost always grounds for an immediate block.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you continue to edit war, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Sitush (talk) 13:29, 18 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Help[edit]

In an edit warring, who is supposed to be right? Each party believes itself to be on the right side. To whom does the 3RR apply? {{help me}}

When you leave messages, please remember to "sign" your name, by putting ~~~~ (four tilde signs) at the end. This will add your name, and the date and time. You can also do this by clicking the 'sign' button, pictured to the right.
There is no 'right' or 'wrong'. Anyone who continues to remove, or re-apply, the same edit may be blocked. Wikipedia is timeless, so if an article is incorrect for a while, it doesn't matter. We have to stop, discuss, and work towards a consensus.

It does not matter what anyone else does; you are responsible for your own actions - and if you are disruptive, you may be warned and blocked. See WP:NOTTHEM.  Chzz  ►  14:54, 18 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

ya warriors of a tribal(kattuvasi) community.Tax collector is another way of saying chieftian(they had complete civil authority). 10% of a very huge nadar population(the nadars constitute 80 to 90% of the population of southern tirunelveli and around Korkai!) is actually large. We lived in a real society. Not alone near the stinking sea. The paravars are a schedule caste near Kanniyakumari because dey are tribal illiterates.Sellin anythin dead or dealin with dead things is a extremely polluting occupation(the parayars made leather out the skin of dead animals and the paravars sold dead fish) and the paravars had to stay very far away from a brahmin territory unlike Nadars. The Nadar climbers or Shanars climbed trees and produced jaggery primarily. Toddy was only sold by some nadars. Thevars and nadars live in the same region(like in sivakasi and kamudi) not near the kuppam. Thevars will never consider a bunch of fisherman as their kin and the two races HAVE NOTHING in common.Manymembers of the Mukkulathore community are classed as backward caste(like kallars and agamudayars). Even the Ambattans(barber caste) come under the MBC category.Morever I have posted a link clearly provin that you were below the assaris and nadars.what is even more important is our current position in the society 'TODAY'. i am very well aware of the status of your caste(very poor!I ve seen many tamil movies like citizen)i am through arguing here and i am goin to mind my work from now on.so please.or do you want more.and watch your mouth. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 59.96.136.80 (talk) 17:52, 1 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
