A tag has been placed on Hebrew Academy of Nassau County, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add hangon on the top of the page (below the existing db tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Адам12901 Talk 02:28, 14 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Rabbinical taliban[edit]

A "prod" template has been added to the article Rabbinical taliban, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the dated prod notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Hi. It's a redirect to that very article. Thanks.

June 2009[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to The Taking of Pelham 123 (2009 film), is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Cirt (talk) 20:27, 28 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits[edit]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button or located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when they said it. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 03:10, 12 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I fixed the link to Lisa Kelly in the above article. You had linked to an Irish opera singer Lisa Kelly. Regards Denisarona (talk) 14:27, 23 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

August 2014[edit]

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Spin-off (media) may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
 • Love and the Happy Days and spun off Mork and Mindy , [Laverne and Shirley]] , Out of the Blue,Blansky's Beauties and Joanies Loves Chachi

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, BracketBot (talk) 14:33, 12 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for August 13[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Spin-off (media), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Out of the Blue. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Carmen[edit]

what was wrong about requesting that a source be supplied for those who don't know what you now? If you plan to re-insert it with a source, please don't start a new header. - There are people who believe editing any featured article is "not a good idea". I object(ed) to that, but be ready to talk to them. I am not one of the editors of Carmen, just watching, --Gerda Arendt (talk) 19:12, 4 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Do you know how to supply a source? Disappointing to see the same mistake made twice. - Add a source, please or (better) revert it. For readers around the world who want to find information about Bizet's work it seems irrelevant why some American listeners may recognise its melodies. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 19:45, 4 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I gave links to the wikipedia aritcles where it mentions Carmen in the context that I used.

Hi Howardform, I have removed your additions to Carmen again because you have not provided a reliable secondary source. It can be difficult to grasp these things when you are new to Wikipedia, but reading Wikipedia:Identifying reliable sources is a great place to start. Examples would be scholarly publications or well-thought-of books describing the ideas you are trying to convey. Gerda Arendt has given you good advice as well. Please let us know if we can be of additional assistance. --Laser brain (talk) 19:55, 4 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

January 2017[edit]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Karlie Kloss, without citing a reliable source using an inline citation that clearly supports the material. The burden is on the person wishing to keep in the material to meet these requirements, as a necessary (but not always sufficient) condition. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Rebbing 20:11, 24 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Ilhan Omar[edit]

Hello. I have reverted you here. Your use of the daily mail as a reference is not permitted except in very specific circumstances, see WP:DEPRECATED. Buzzfeed News is questionable but not deprecated, however, using it as the sole source for such a critical statement in a WP:BLP - especially when Buzzfeed's source is legal papers filed by the other party's ex-partner. It simply isn't reliable sourcing especially in light of WP:BLP. ST47 (talk) 21:32, 27 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
