Speedy deletion nomination of Stefan Feller[edit]

A tag has been placed on Stefan Feller requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://www.un.org/press/en/2013/sga1400.doc.htm. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. I am not related to the person and all the sources are backed up. Can you give one good reason for why the post is not accurate or why it is not of public interest? I do not understand where your allegations are coming from.

- This is not about "allegations". I want to make sure you understand that, if you work for the UN, you should not be writing articles about that organisation, whether or not you happen to be related to the person who is the subject of the article.Deb (talk) 22:00, 9 August 2017 (UTC)
- This is about "allegations". Apologies, but where did I indicate that I work for the UN? Should academics also not write about their research areas? I still am missing if you have any problem with the content of the article? If so, please let's address them, including if the article is not relevant for listing on wikipedia. I have tried to make information accessible that is important for the public and added the factual references.
- The fact that you initially used text copied from a UN official press release when you created Stefan Feller is suggestive of a connection. If there isn't any connection, carry on, but please understand that wording from press releases is often unsuitable for the encyclopedia (e.g. "Mr Feller has more than 36 years of professional experience" is clearly promotional), and not everyone employed by the UN is notable. I advised you of your responsibilities, just in case. In time, as you start to contribute to articles about a wider range of subjects, your independence will become more apparent. Well copied and I used the press release as it was public information that I could reference. I thought this was helping the article, rather than undermine it. Thank you for the suggestion(s). It is good to know that I should also edit other topics, I did not think about it from that perspective. Thanks and carry on.
