Kurdistan[edit]

Thankyou for being the voice of reason :) I'm sorry if I haven't explained, but I've gone through this so many times with other people on other talk pages, it just gets really tired after a while :( - FrancisTyers 11:45, 22 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

well, a quick look to kurd related pages (when you look one of them you just want to check others as well) made that clear :) i just wanted to end the argument that was heading a totally wrong direction. us turks are indeed "hot" on these issues but to get over it, we should control temper, because others might not. i, honestly, don't like to enter into discussion and quite frankly wouldn't even edit any article like that, unless there is a too obvious npov or vandalism. its nice to see that you didn't hesitate to weight in, tho. and they roasted you a lot :) thanks for the support, till now i thought you were "on the other side" ! hudd 12:17, 22 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Jorja Fox[edit]

Excuse me, but what I did was not vandalism. She *is* known for the large gap between her two front teeth. Perhaps saying "two inches" is a slight hyperbole, but you get what I mean. At least say that she suffers from the scientific name of the disease (and yes, there is one, it starts with a "D"), or put her in a category "People with {Disease name}".

with all do respect; that wasnt a 'slight' hyperbole, and maybe is not a vandalism, but definately does not belong to an article that describes an actress. what you added there was rude and insulting. sure, she is known for that feature but unless its a specific disease or anything then its much better to not mention it.. and if it is, then better a dentist user adds it..still, if you really want to address to that point, surely i am not an idiot and i wouldn't dismiss a remark made with better means and better wording. but i stand on my point that hyperbole was out of bounds.. hudd 15:14, 23 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]
I'm with Hudd here. It's at best a gross exageration and possibly insulting. Yes, she has a gap between her two front teeth, and yes there's a medical condition (Diastema) but ... I would say more she's known for being an actor. Certainly they gap-tooth info comes up less often than those stupid 'she's pregnant!' rumors, and god knows those show up every year. Turkish name[edit]

Hi. I noticed that you speak Turkish. Can you please add a Turkish name for this old Ottoman province into this article: Elayet of Temesvar. If you do not know this name, can you tell me who of the Wikipedia users might know? Thank you. PANONIAN (talk) 00:01, 12 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

sorry i was a little late, someone else added it. it is in fact temesvar in turkish as well. hudd 08:17, 12 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Monty Python TfD compromise[edit]

There is a compromise now posted on the TfD if you are still interested in this debate. One question, even though you are against this TfD, have you even taken the master template out for a test drive?

Orphaned fair use image (Image:Cynthia watros.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Cynthia watros.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Fair use rationale for File:48days.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:48days.jpg. You've indicated that the image meets Wikipedia's criteria for non-free content, but there is no explanation of why it meets those criteria. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. If you have any questions, please post them at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.

Thank you for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 23:37, 27 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Image permission problem with Image:Tcof.jpg[edit]

Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading Image:Tcof.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the image (or other media file) agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the GFDL or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the image to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the image has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the image's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Images lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Rettetast (talk) 19:55, 5 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you. —Justin (koavf)TCM 02:14, 15 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
