Request reason:

Requesting an IP block exemption, because my vpn provider has been blocked due to crosswiki abuse by other users. the only reason i use this VPN is to have some form of encryption on this hotspot the block that is affecting me is 83.170.76.205 Hybirdd (talk) 23:28, 24 December 2012 (UTC)

Decline reason:

It appears as though you have access to other IP addresses - you've been editing elsewhere since posting this request, and checkuser logs only show a few edits from the blocked IP address. IPBE is only granted when it is necessary for editing, and that doesn't seem to be the case here. Hersfold (t/a/c) 03:25, 25 December 2012 (UTC)

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Block log shows - 11:38, 14 March 2012: Matanya (meta.wikimedia.org) globally blocked 83.170.64.0/19 (expires on 14 March 2013 at 11:38) (Open proxy: Cross-wiki abuse)  Ronhjones  (Talk) 02:33, 25 December 2012 (UTC)

Marked as parroled

I would like to parole the pages here on wikipedia, after reading the Help files on it they tell me i have to "Mark page as paroled" but yet i don't see the link in the bottom right of the page. is there anything i can do for it to apear? Hybirdd (talk) 11:41, 27 December 2012 (UTC)

Make sure you're looking at new pages...try using Page Curation. Though if you're blocked, which it appears you may be, then you won't be able to patrol pages. Go Phightins! 19:46, 27 December 2012 (UTC)
As Go Phightins said try using Page Curation, Though from the above block message you are caught in a global block set to expire March 14 2013. If you could get a global IP exemption you could edit during the time. If you have not, Try the Stewards Global Permissions request page. John F. Lewis (talk) 21:47, 27 December 2012 (UTC)
