Kirameki Project[edit]

Hi I'm Aya Syameimaru!, I've removed the text you added to the article here because it doesn't make any sense. It's on the talk page with its refs intact of you want to re-edit it but please don't return it intact because no-one will understand it. Cheers, Baffle☿gab 23:12, 13 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, that text was so messy. I'm glad you're having me think I can improve it. «ias!|,,.|usbk» 23:35, 13 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
You posted it to English Wikipedia but it is not proper English so I could not understand any of it. If you do not understand English, perhaps you should edit Japanese Wikipedia until your English skills improve. Good luck and cheers, Baffle☿gab 03:29, 14 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

RE: Template proposal[edit]

Hello Aya: regarding my proposal at Template_talk:Nihongo, could you post which proposal you support in the new section? (like Psihedelisto said, the old proposal 3 is the same as the new proposal 1). I want to build consensus around my newly-formulated version. Sorry, I wasn't clear in what I wanted when I pinged you. — Goszei (talk) 04:40, 22 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I can do it. ias!@,,.yy 04:43, 22 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Copying within Wikipedia[edit]

Thanks for identifying the source of the material in your edit.

This type of edit does get picked up by Copy Patrol and a good edit summary helps to make sure we don't accidentally revert it. However, for future use, would you note the best practices wording as outlined at Wikipedia:Copying_within_Wikipedia? In particular, adding the phrase "see that page's history for attribution" helps ensure that proper attribution is preserved.S Philbrick(Talk) 12:49, 28 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Well yes, I would do so. I,,.iasO 12:50, 28 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

FTC[edit]

Aya, please don't make commentary about nominations having enough votes and should be promoted if it doesn't add to the discussion. We have a system in place and the nomination isn't even a week old yet. GamerPro64 23:26, 8 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, then I refrain from it. ias:postb□x 23:29, 8 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on User talk:I'm Aya Syameimaru!/sandbox, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent. If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. SuperGoose007 (Honk!) 22:07, 19 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Well, I guess go ahead with the deletion. iaspostb□x 22:08, 19 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, there, I redirected it to my sandbox. iaspostb□x 22:10, 19 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not sure what's going on with you, but you would do well to avoid making unproven accusations against other editors. It's a personal attack unless you can prove it. Consider this a level 3 warning; the next warning is your last. Chris Troutman (talk) 02:43, 22 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, then I'll do a level 0 warning, no level beyond 0. iaspostb□x 02:48, 22 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

TFL notification[edit]

Hi, I'm Aya Syameimaru! I'm just posting to let you know that List of Puella Magi Madoka Magica episodes – a list that you have been heavily involved with – has been chosen to appear on the Main Page as Today's featured list for August 10. The TFL blurb can be seen here. If you have any thoughts on the selection, please post them on my talk page or at TFL talk. Regards, Giants2008 (Talk) 02:27, 23 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Wow, this is a exciting time for such a thing! iaspostb□x 03:12, 23 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Odd edits[edit]

Hi there, I'm an administrator at the English Wikipedia. I'm curious if you could please explain these edit summaries"YOU WILL NOT SURVIVE" and "'...after allegations of sexual misconduct surfaced.' They're not 'allegations', they're truths you stupid Illuminati! Lucifer (Sanat Kumura) and the Army of Darkness (Hierachy) is TERRIBLE and they're DEAD! I wish the word 'illuminati' was said on TV, not the opposite. I'm praying to Shirayama-hime." Since edit summaries are intended to help other editors understand why you are making the changes, I'm not clear on how these summaries are helpful and would appreciate an explanation, please.

I'm also unclear about this exchange[1][2], where you accused someone of using the N-word, before later removing it. What was the point of that?

Since I also notice you setting article importance ratings, I'm curious what Wikipedia critiera you are following to arrive at these importance ratings. Can you explain that, please? You don't seem to have much editing experience outside a small group of articles, most of them related to video games, so I'm curious how you're estimating what Berlin's importance rating would be to WikiProject Pop Music or how important Ukranian singer Verka Serduchka is to WikiProject Electronic Music. But if I'm wrong and you're following a specific set of criteria, I'd be interested in hearing that. Thanks, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 23:41, 23 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I was editing a wide range of those talk pages so frequently that I even couldn't stabilize myself and my personality, so the edit summaries of those edits were like that. In short, the outrageous edit summaries was because I wasn't stable. I apologize for being rude. I'm stabilizing myself and my personality now.
That thing that goes "let's blame Fram for something" was also because I was unstable. I'll do a level 0 warning, no level beyond 0.
When it came to assessing pages, I did clean up work for the class and importance ratings of those articles. I was determining them from overviewing the contents of the mainspace pages, so I did it. -iaspostb□x+ 00:33, 24 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Also, I am doing a GA reassessment of Jean-Michel Jarre because it's quality is deteriorating, meaning that it (by the time of this writing) less compliant of the Good Article criteria than before, so that means if the article is of decent professionalism, then I'll be giving it high class ratings. -iaspostb□x+ 00:38, 24 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
A B-class article is good if it's well-done, same thing goes to high-end stubs, high-end start-class articles, high-end C-class articles, and GAs and FAs. -iaspostb□x+ 00:41, 24 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
You're welcome. -iaspostb□x+ 04:53, 24 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for the explanation, I appreciate it. Whatever you happen to be going through personally, I hope you'll be able to keep it under control. Some outbursts can look like personal attacks, which may not be your intention, but can have the accidental impact of putting other editors on edge. And edit summaries that don't actually explain the changes you've made can be considered disruptive, which I'm sure is not your intention. Thank you for your contributions to the project. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 15:49, 24 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
You are welcome. -iaspostb□x+ 23:31, 24 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, you updated the WPVG good content page a few hours ago, removing two nominations with the edit summary B! - not sure why though? They both passed. Just letting you know; if a nomination vanishes from the GAN listings, you have to check the actual review, because the bot sometimes takes a bit to update the article class to GA after one passes. --PresN 14:26, 27 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I meant to say "2!" not "B!". -iaspostb□x+ 00:36, 28 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the throwback![edit]

FYI, just read your feature in the newsletter and I just started laughing. Literally, David just reviewed one of my articles this week for the first time in 12 years and after pointing that out, we noticed how old we are nowadays. Appreciate the blast from the past! Nomader (talk) 04:02, 1 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

You're welcome. I really love the throwback. -iaspostb□x+ 05:28, 1 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The Collapse of Jean-Michel Jarre[edit]

Sorry that he got his green button on top taken away. I was in a similar situation when I opened the Kate Bush article for FAR and wanted to save it but was unable to because its sourcing was outdated as book sources on her became apparent. As far as I'm concerned, Jarre has biographies in books available. Such sources are considered essential to further maintain quality since websites tend to be more challenged. I just thought I'd offer you a word of advice and a pat on the back, OO 17:03, 2 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

That's interesting, I guess I'll take a look. -iaspostb□x+ 03:43, 3 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

July 2020[edit]

Hi I'm Aya Syameimaru!. I was coming here to issue you a warning about your edit summaries, but I saw that you have previously been warned already. I've issued you a 24-hour block to prevent further similar disruption. Your edit summaries at Datsik and its talk page required revision-deletion. Your edit summary at Karl August is also completely inappropriate. I trust these problems will stop when your block expires. If you wish to appeal this block, please use the unblock template. ({{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}) Thank you. Paul Erik (talk)(contribs) 15:41, 6 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Well, you know what, perhaps I'll type something like "#ce35%" instead of "hey look at this, i'm noisy!" because no one is interested in insane edit summaries any more. -iaspostb□x+ 16:47, 6 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
It's unusual to do a BLP-violating edit summary because normally, a BLP violation happens in the page text. I guess it makes sense that this block happens. I've already calmed down before the block happened, so I'm fine with this block. -iaspostb□x+ 16:51, 6 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
You're welcome. -iaspostb□x+ 16:52, 6 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I was blaming Datsik for the sexual abuse thing, which was why I said I disapproved of his support of Obama; I also ended up criticizing Datsik. I called Wikipedia leftist and said that the website needed more rightists; furthermore, I asked a question about the leftism part. This kind of edit summary was very intense, so I wouldn't be doing in the future. -iaspostb□x+ 19:56, 6 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

WPVG Good Content page[edit]

Hey, thanks for updating the Wikipedia:WikiProject Video games/Good content page! Quick ask, though- when you remove a promoted GAN, can you also add it to the GA section? If you don't, then I have to parse through the history of the page to find what articles got promoted vs didn't and then add them, which takes longer than it would if they'd been left in the GAN section to begin with. Thanks! --PresN 02:30, 20 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I can do it. You're welcome -iaspostb□x+ 04:51, 20 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Can you actually have your edit summaries make sense meanwhile? What does "waiters" even mean? GamerPro64 12:17, 21 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Yes. For "waiters", it means I'm expecting the nominator to return his nomination months later in a higher quality state, he's improving it in the meantime. -iaspostb□x+ 16:30, 21 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
