Feedback[edit]

Hi. I moved your article back to your sandbox because it isn't ready for mainspace yet. I've linked to the biographies handout, and I recommend you take a look at it. A few specific issues

  • Wikipedia articles begin with a lead section that summarizes all the major points of the article. Your article should start with something like Ying Liu is... and then go on to say enough so that a person who doesn't read past that sentence knows something about who Ying Liu is. The rest of the lead should then summarize the major points in the body of the article.
  • Wikipedia articles don't use titles like "Dr" or "Professor" when referring to people.
  • Your article should be based primarily on reliable sources written written by people who are not connected with the subject of the article. Baidu Baike isn't a reliable source because, like Wikipedia, it's written by ordinary people with no editorial oversight.
  • Right now you have references that are just numbered superscripts. You need to use the Cite tool to create proper inline references. (See this training slide for a reminder.)
  • Don't add formatting to your section headers and don't bold terms other than the article title in the opening sentence.
  • Adding a complete list of publications makes the article look like a CV. You should mention their most important publications, but it's better to do so in a paragraph that explains the importance. Otherwise the reader doesn't know why these are listed. Ying Liu (biochemist) moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Ying Liu (biochemist), is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Your draft article, Draft:Ying Liu (biochemist)[edit]

Hello, I-Chia Wu. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Ying Liu".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been deleted. If you plan on working on it further and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Liz Read! Talk! 16:18, 6 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
