July 2013[edit]

Stop icon

Your recent editing history at A Hard Day's Night (album) shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. Dan56 (talk) 16:48, 6 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

IGotProof, you are invited to the Teahouse[edit]

Teahouse logo

Hi IGotProof! Thanks for contributing to Wikipedia.
Be our guest at the Teahouse! The Teahouse is a friendly space where new editors can ask questions about contributing to Wikipedia and get help from peers and experienced editors. I hope to see you there! Doctree (I'm a Teahouse host)

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Beatles for Sale. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been reverted or removed.

  • If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor then please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
  • If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive, until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively could result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Dan56 (talk) 16:35, 7 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing, as you did at Rubber Soul. Your edits have been reverted or removed.

Do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively may result in your being blocked from editing. Dan56 (talk) 17:13, 7 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Minor edits[edit]

Would you please read Wikipedia's definition of a minor edit. - David Biddulph (talk) 13:57, 8 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

You haven't read it yet, have you? You are still marking edits as minor when they don't meet that definition. Please stop doing so. - David Biddulph (talk) 14:54, 14 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Fixed[edit]

You got message at the Teahouse :) Miss Bono [zootalk] 14:47, 14 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I see your edit to the article has been undone, like you requested at the Teahouse. You can click the "view history" tab at the top of an article to see the revisions: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Let_There_Be_Rock&action=history And from there you can compare versions, undo, etc. =) Best. August 2013[edit]

You have continued to mark edits as minor when they do not meet the definition at WP:MINOR. Continuing to do so, deliberately, after having been reminded, is liable to be considered as disruptive editing, with the associated consequences. Please abide by the agreed conventions of Wikipedia. - David Biddulph (talk) 17:31, 14 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing, as you did at Please Please Me. Your edits have been reverted or removed.

Do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively may result in your being blocked from editing. Dan56 (talk) 02:17, 22 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm ChakaKong. I noticed that you made a change to an article, So Tired (Ozzy Osbourne song), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. ChakaKongLet's talk about it 13:33, 30 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did to In the Jungle Groove, without verifying it by citing a reliable source. Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Motherlode (James Brown album). This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Dan56 (talk) 20:43, 1 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Yours Truly, Angry Mob may have broken the syntax by modifying 2 "{}"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

Opting in to VisualEditor[edit]

As you may know, VisualEditor ("Edit beta") is currently available on the English Wikipedia only for registered editors who choose to enable it. Since you have made 100 or more edits with VisualEditor this year, I want to make sure that you know that you can enable VisualEditor (if you haven't already done so) by going to your preferences and choosing the item, "MediaWiki:Visualeditor-preference-enable". This will give you the option of using VisualEditor on articles and userpages when you want to, and give you the opportunity to spot changes in the interface and suggest improvements. We value your feedback, whether positive or negative, about using VisualEditor, at Wikipedia:VisualEditor/Feedback. Thank you, Whatamidoing (WMF) (talk) 18:28, 11 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Stormmeteo. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Even Now (Barry Manilow album) without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry: I restored the removed content. If you would like to experiment, you can use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks! March 2014[edit]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Mighty Morphin Power Rangers The Movie: Original Soundtrack Album. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Administrators have the ability to block users from editing if they repeatedly engage in vandalism. Thank you. Aspects (talk) 03:52, 21 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
