A message from Profywld[edit]

Dear I dream of horses, I've just adjusted my article Journal of Theoretical, Computational and Applied Mechanics https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Journal_of_Theoretical,_Computational_and_Applied_Mechanics The problem that you've identified was the lack of reliable sources: "this submission is not adequately supported by reliable sources." However, the journal is hosted at episciences.org platform which was launched by the French-gouverment supported organization CCSD The Center for Direct Scientific Communication https://www.ccsd.cnrs.fr/en/ and the journal was approved by the platform's commission https://www.episciences.org/page/epiiam which includes eminent scientists. Therefore the fact that the journal was approved is a kind of "stamp of quality". I understand that you could think that it is a kind of rubbish predatory journal, but it is not. The platform episciences.org and its creator, CCSD, is a non-profit organization promoting Open Science, and our journal JTCAM is a Diamond Open Access journal which does not have any Article Processing Charge nor subscription, so it's totally free for authors and readers. For the moment the journal is not references in the Directory of Open Access Journals DOAJ https://doaj.org/ because we have published for the moment only two papers:

https://doi.org/10.46298/jtcam.6753

https://doi.org/10.46298/jtcam.6450

Thank you in advance for your help and advice.

Kind regards,

Vladislav Yastrebov, PhD

CNRS Research Scientist and Technical Editor of JTCAM

@Profywld: We still need reliable sources even if there's a "stamp of quality."
You will need to disclose that you work for the journal per our terms of use and possibly Federal Trade Commission-enforced US law, preferably at your user page. I dream of horses (Contribs) Please notify me if replying off my talk page. Thank you. 10:22, 11 May 2021 (UTC) (added ping at 10:22, 11 May 2021 (UTC)) (fixed formatting error at 10:23, 11 May 2021 (UTC))[reply]
@I dream of horses: Thank you for your fast reply. Could you please give me an example in what concerns a scholarly journal, take for example, European Physical Journal A? Would ISSN solve the problem? As I explained above, the fact that the journal is accepted and referenced at Episcience.org platform is not only a "stamp of quality" but a proof of existence, for me it is a really reliable source, there's a serious commission behind, before any journal appears there there's a phase of approval... I've looked through the article of reliable sources and cannot find another source that could be more convincing that this listing. I've just created my page Profywld and put there that I'm serving the journal as technical editor and that I'm one of the founders of the journal. However, it is not a paid work, it's my in-kind contribution because it is non-profit organization, we do not earn money, it is full open science initiative. Your help would be appreciated. @Profywld, academic journals have a notability essay written for them here. This is a link to the general notability guideline, and this is a simplified and concise summary for it. So that's what we're looking for in articles generally and academic journals specifically. I dream of horses (Contribs) Please notify me if replying off my talk page. Thank you. 20:04, 13 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

A message from User:KIRTIS Topic: North Memorial Health Hospital[edit]

I just updated the Robbinsdale Historical Society post "Robbinsdale's North Memorial Hospital." I noticed you added substantial info to the page in 2015. I drew some of the text for the post from the existing Wiki article. Just inviting you to take a fresh look at the post on our website at https://robbinsdale.org/robbinsdales-north-memorial-hospital/ Feel free to insert anything of interest from this post into the Wikipedia page.

@KIRTIS, I think you meant to talk to @Londahe. Perhaps I did something minor on the page, which is why you ended up on my page.
Since you refer to the website as 'our website,' it's probably advisable that you're affiliated with North Memorial Health Hospital on your userpage. I dream of horses (Contribs) Please notify me if replying off my talk page. Thank you. 20:25, 27 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

did you call me?[edit]

@St3095, nothing is "wrong," per se. I just pinged you on the behalf of a confused new user. That's all. I dream of horses (Contribs) Please notify me if replying off my talk page. Thank you. 04:43, 30 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
