@Dr Firstfruit Dashe::
  1. This isn't the right spot to write an article. Perhaps you were looking for articles for creation.
  2. We strongly discourage writing autobiographies, anyway. It's that difficult being neutral.
  3. You really need to work on formatting. I dream of horses (Contribs) (Talk) 13:54, 2 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  • Access to Special:RevisionDelete has been expanded to include users who have the deletelogentry and deletedhistory rights. This means that those in the Researcher user group and Checkusers who are not administrators can now access Special:RevisionDelete. The users able to view the special page after this change are the 3 users in the Researcher group, as there are currently no checkusers who are not already administrators. (T301928)

Help making a Wikipedia page[edit]

Hey I was wondering if u could help me make a Wikipedia page I’m a rapper artist named lil goosey please contact through here or on Instagram @lilgoosey Jon76yuo (talk) 20:04, 16 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Jon76yuo I'm going to help by advising you to focus on your rapping career instead of a Wikipedia article. Writing an autobiographical is allowed, but strongly discouraged due to the inherent bias we have towards ourselves (conflict of interest). On top of that, it's highly doubtful that, if you have to write an article about yourself, or pay someone to write an article about you, that you would qualify for an article anyways; only people and subjects who've been globally noted qualify.
TL;DR: No. I dream of horses (Contribs) (Talk) 23:33, 16 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Question from Backpacklibrarian on Carol Sklenicka (00:34, 19 April 2022)[edit]

Hello! I don't understand why there is a flag for "multiple issues" on this page. I made some edits and feel like it reads like any other general author bio. Please advise how to remove the warning, or explain specifics that still need to be addressed. Thank you! --Backpacklibrarian (talk) 00:34, 19 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Backpacklibrarian Looks like Carol Sklenicka herself has edited the article, which is a bad idea because of the neutrality issues mentioned. Kind of hard to write about yourself neutrally, after all. You've added some information; perhaps another step would be to talk to Longhair and Melmann, who were the ones who initially added the templates to begin with. I dream of horses (Contribs) (Talk) 02:15, 19 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
OK, thanks for your time. Backpacklibrarian (talk) 14:49, 19 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Question from Mjfdev (17:09, 26 April 2022)[edit]

Hello, and why do you dream of horses? I had horses for years, and kind of miss them! I've never edited a wiki page before and would love your input. --Mjfdev (talk) 17:09, 26 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

My username was, admittedly, an impulsive decision made as a 19 year old. I don't regret it. I like horses, as well. I dream of horses (Contribs) (Talk) 18:49, 26 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Question from Mjfdev (17:20, 26 April 2022)[edit]

Hi again, I've been hired to work at Montana Justice Foundation and would like to edit our WIKI, which is hideously out of date. But when I registered, and made changes, they were rejected. I would like your help to be able to make changes! --Mjfdev (talk) 17:20, 26 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Mjfdev Schazjmd reverted your edit. Here's how to prevent that:
  1. Declare that you work at the Montana Justice Foundation on your userpage. This is actually required because of our Terms of Use. In an overly technical interpretation, you saying I've been hired to work at Montana Justice Foundation here can qualify as such a declaration, but this message is going to get archived at some point.
  2. For now on, any changes you want to make, you'll use {{request edit}} on the talk page of Montana Justice Foundation. Make the request under the "request edit" template.
Unfortunately, we need to do this to prevent employees of organizations putting dubious information in articles, stating overly positive opinions instead of facts, or creating articles on organizations that aren't yet notable enough for one. Sometimes, they'll even put negative "information" in competing organizations. Needless to say, the Wikipedia community isn't a fan of this, and we had to develop guidelines on how to edit articles on the behalf of someone who's paying you.
Now, I have a question for you. Is your account shared? I dream of horses (Contribs) (Talk) 19:07, 26 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Mjfdev I've added a {{Connected contributor (paid)}} template on the talk page of Montana Justice Foundation. You could get away with skipping the first step since I've permalinked to your I've been hired to work at Montana Justice Foundation message. However, it's still probably a good idea to make your employment at the foundation known on your userpage, just in case somebody finds your contributions history/user page before they find the Montana Justice Foundation talk page. I dream of horses (Contribs) (Talk) 19:24, 26 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Oh my goodness. I tried to log in, and it was a complete wreck. I guess this is a lost cause and the organization's page will just look like 2011.

Question from Mjfdev (21:32, 27 April 2022)[edit]

Hi again. I now work at Montana Justice Foundation and am attempting to make good faith edits to a horribly outdated page. I spent quite a few hours making changes only to see them reverted. Is this a Mission Impossible? Is it realistic for me to think that I can make these changes? --Mjfdev (talk) 21:32, 27 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Mjfdev: I've already explained how to edit the page in the above subsection. Please answer the question as to whether or not the account is shared. --I dream of horses (Contribs) (Talk) 23:18, 27 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
