ArbCom Elections 2016: Voting now open!
Hello, Iazyges. Voting in the 2016 Arbitration Committee elections is open from Monday, 00:00, 21 November through Sunday, 23:59, 4 December to all unblocked users who have registered an account before Wednesday, 00:00, 28 October 2016 and have made at least 150 mainspace edits before Sunday, 00:00, 1 November 2016.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

- Breaking the back of the backlog
If each reviewer does only 10 reviews a day over five days, the backlog will be down to zero and the daily input can then be processed by each reviewer doing only 2 or 3 reviews a day - that's about 5 minutes work!

Hello, Iazyges -- I have completed a copy-edit of Iazyges. At several places in the article, as I was editing, I came across quite a few instances of sentences running one into the next, and sometimes into the next. In order to form sentences that made sense and flowed well, I had to do a certain amount of "educated guessing" as to what exactly was meant. Thus, I recommend that you read the article carefully to be sure that I did not introduce any factual errors. - I remembered two things I wanted to mention. One is that I thought it might be helpful to include a pronunciation guide for "Iazyges" at the beginning of the article. Some readers might wonder whether "zy" is pronounced "zy" or "zee" and whether the "g" is a hard "g" (as in "good") or a soft "g" (as in "general"). The other is that I was intrigued by the mention of the influence of the Iazyges armor on Roman and perhaps other Western European armor, and I wondered if there were any illustrations of Iazyges armor, and, if not, of Roman and/or early European armor that scholars think might have been influenced by Iazyges armor.
