Draft Feedback: Web compatibility issues in South Korea[edit]

Hello, overall your translation draft for Web compatibility issues in South Korea is clear and easy to understand. It looks good and shoutout to you for translating such a long piece with technical jargon!

I have some suggestions below.

Lead

  • To me, the first sentence of the lead is a little confusing. I think there may be a missing word somewhere that's throwing me off.
  • I would recommend writing out "Microsoft" entirely, instead of the shortened "MS" for consistency and clarity. I think "IE" should be fine though.

Notes and References

  • I don't see the section with the translation, so make sure you add this in before uploading.

Final suggestions (for everyone):

  • Make sure your article has the note about it being a translation from your language Wikipedia. Revisit the translation training modules to see how you can properly attribute authorship.
  • Make sure that the article's in-line citations are properly formatted. Revisit the citations training modules.
  • Before posting to the mainspace, do a final read through and check for typos, capitalization of proper nouns (ex. is your article about an app or law?), verb tense agreement, etc. The article does not need to be perfect--fellow Wikipedians will help edit--but it should be polished to the best of your ability.
  • Consider adding wiki links
  • Make sure that when you upload, the only thing in the draft is the article. Lab discussions should not appear in the mainspace.
  • Upload when you are ready. The article does not need to be published in the very first week our lab starts uploading. If you still have questions or want more feedback, reach out to your buddy or me (no real names on Wikipedia, but since this may be the first time you see my Wikipedia username, I'm the senior coordinator for the project who is not your buddy haha).

I think the main area of improvement for the article is just adjusting the formatting (using section headings, etc).

안녕하세요 학생. As part of a new page patrol review, I have moved your article to NIS illegal eavesdropping case for a more concise titling of the article. I did some minor fixes, i.e. add categories, fixed a reference error, and some general fixes. I have left a couple of maintenance tags noting that the page is a dead-end and orphaned article (which task is apparently upcoming in your course, where you now have to link to and from other pages). Being curious, I checked out your sandbox and noticed your point on date formats. The style guide for Wikipedia English on date formatting allows MDY, DMY, etc formatting as long as one format is consistently used across the article. As to which format to use: although it is a preferably DMY, variations can be used if there is a strong national tie to the article. See: Wikipedia:Overview of date formatting guidelines.
