Desert[edit]
I have removed some of the information you added to the article Desert because it was a copyright violation of this source. You can see the report of Duplicate Detector here which compares the two web pages and looks for similarities. This shows that you copied and pasted several complete sentences from the source. This is unacceptable and you can see Wikipedia's policy on copyright at this page. If you want to replace the information, you need to summarise it in your own words. The first part of what you added did not seem to be a copyright violation and I have left it in place, edited it a little, mostly by adding capital letters where appropriate. I see you have been making edits on Wikipaedia since 2011 so you really ought to have read some of its style guidelines by now and learned to give reasons for changes. I reversed yours because to my eyes, as an experienced editor in 'real' life, I saw them to be unencyclopaedic and fussy. "600+" is a lazy example of unencyclopaedic expression; "tales, fables and literature", followed by "anecdotes" later, is an example of fussy piling up of verbiage. I was also unhappy at the unsensitive AD, which is a Christian designation, used to 'clarify' the date of an Arab work, which should properly be expressed by an AH date in brackets; or you could have used the more neutral CE. Finally, why change "Arabs" to "The Arabs", as if the entire race was involved?
You have demanded that a reason for wishing to undo an edit should be given you 'before doing so'. That is not Wikipaedia practice. In your turn, if you were unhappy about the facts in that section, you could have brought the matter up on the Talk page. Some useful guidelines are given at WP:MOS.
