Hello, I'm Hugsyrup. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to List of Nigerian engineers have been undone because they appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted; Wikipedia articles should be written objectively, using independent sources, and from a neutral perspective. @Igwilo: don't worry, I have already removed it. You should not insert yourself into lists like this - they are intended to be for notable individuals who already have articles of their own. If your sole purpose of using wikipedia is to promote yourself, which so far seems to be the case, then please just stop. It doesn't work, and will eventually result in you being blocked. Signing: At the end of comments on article and User Talk pages, type four of ~. That 'signs' your comments. Users are strongly advised to not try to compose articles about themselves. See WP:Autobiography. If you are sufficiently notable by Wikipedia's criteria, i.e., multiple published articles about you and your accomplishments, then in time someone else may create an article about you. Your draft article about yourself was Rejected. This is stronger than Declined. In that list of Nigerian engineers, every person already has an article written about them, hence the blue color of their names. David notMD (talk) 13:18, 6 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
