Partly invalid edit on WP:ORE[edit]

This edit had some good consequences, but revising the reqphoto parameter to {{WikiProject Oregon}} was not one of them. It also happened here so it does not look like a glitch, but intentional behavior. —EncMstr (talk) 17:57, 18 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

thanks for pointing this out. I was not aware of a template using the syntax reqphoto as parameter. Looks like I will have to write a stricter syntax. --Traveler100 (talk) 18:37, 18 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Bot needs to check if article is redirect[edit]

The bot overrode this talk page redirect, diff, which probably should have been deleted long ago but wasn't. Point is - should the bot be making the decision to override a talk page redirect with an image request? Some sort of check could be completed first in order to avoid this problem. Thanks! Good point, I have corrected. Image-req-proj-bot (talk) 04:43, 30 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Seriously? It just did the same thing again, this time recreating a deleted page. I considered blocking the bot for this malfunction, but instead I'll post here to halt any automated AWB function. Please stop editing and go back to check your other edits. I don't know how many other errors you've introduced like this. Rkitko (talk) 22:32, 30 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
And here, this added a banner and a photo request to a talk page of a common name redirect to a species name. I'm sure there are hundreds of errors like this now. Please clean these up. Could have been avoided with careful list pruning before running the AWB script. Rkitko (talk) 23:00, 30 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
And this one! Not plant related at all! I realize that probably snuck through via the source list, but you could have filtered first via keywords in the article text or by things that were only present in the category structure under Category:Plants. That's what I do when I do AWB runs on things. Rkitko (talk) 23:03, 30 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
