The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

List of English words of Old English origin‎[edit]

Because the root words it is derived from come from Old English. "Live" comes from Old English lifian/libban, and "stream" comes from Old English strēam. ImmortalRationalist (talk) 17:03, 13 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Then there should be a consistent standard for lists of words by etymology. For English words of Greek origin and List of Latin words with English derivatives, for instance, there are plenty of references to words with roots in Latin and Greek for things that did not exist in Ancient Greece or in the Roman Empire.
