Adminship is for highly experienced editors who have displayed their trustworthiness and have been entrusted by the community with technical tools that allow them to perform tasks to assist in the maintenance of the encyclopedia. Unfortunately, you do not yet have the experience necessary to become one. However, please do check out the links above to get started on Wikipedia, and have fun! Hi Slim (hope you don't mind being called that!) Check out the mentorship and adoption programmes. We have some truly wonderful people on here who would be delighted to help you out with all sorts of queries, help you through rather a steep learning curve, lol! and so on. A good way to begin to get your teeth into the wiki-idea is to start with some simple page edits on just correcting things like typos and spelling mistakes, just while you get the feel of the place, too. Check out the Wikipedia:Typo_Team - typo correcting may not sound glamorous, but it's a vital task on Wikipedia, and there can never be too many people doing a spot of housekeeping from time to time. Hi Imslimshady. Remember that all blue or purple words are links that will take you somewhere for more information. Reverting redirect pages and other people's edits is something any experienced editor can do - they do not need to be an administrator, but they do need a reasonably sound knowledge of policies, and fairly keen judgment. Every Wkipedia page has a talk page. If you wish to discuss weasel words, the place to do it is at Wikipedia talk:Manual of Style (words to watch). If you wish to discuss improvements to our system of page redirects, you are welcome to do that at Wikipedia talk:Redirect. However, before you join in with the discussion or start a new topic, do read the main pages first. Thank you for uploading File:Judith barsi.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright and licensing status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.
