Why can't I edit some particular pages?
Some pages that have been vandalized repeatedly are semi-protected, meaning that editing by new or unregistered users is prohibited through technical measures. If you have an account that is four days old and has made at least 10 edits, then you can bypass semi-protection and edit any semi-protected page. Some pages, such as highly visible templates, are fully-protected, meaning that only administrators can edit them. If this is not the case, you may have been blocked or your IP address caught up in a range block.

How do I create citations?
  1. Do a search on Google or your preferred search engine for the subject of the Wikipedia article that you want to create a citation for.
  2. Find a website that supports the claim you are trying to find a citation for.
  3. In a new tab/window, go to the citation generator, click on the 'An arbitrary website' bubble, and fill out as many fields as you can about the website you just found.
  4. Click the 'Get reference wiki text' button.
  5. Highlight, and then copy (Ctrl+C or Apple+C), the resulting text (it will be something like <ref> {{cite web | .... }}</ref>, copy the whole thing).
  6. In the Wikipedia article, after the claim you found a citation for, paste (Ctrl+V or Apple+V) the text you copied.
  7. If the article does not have a References or Notes section (or the like), add this to the bottom of the page, but above the External Links section and the categories:

Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be repeatedly reverting or undoing other editors' contributions at List of tallest buildings in India. Although this may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is known as "edit warring" and is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, as it often creates animosity between editors. Instead of reverting, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to lose their editing privileges on that page. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Regarding wikipedia page improvement[edit]

Hello Indianspy007, I'm Joy goel I have noticed that in the revision history of List of tallest buildings in Mumbai you threatened user Vijaydanny to delete the image of the World towers that I had uploaded, I request you please don't nominate to delete that image because thats one of the only images i have uploaded on commons and its dear to me, although its subjective as to which image of the World towers looks better i request you please do not edit war with user Vijaydanny and please do not nominate that image I uploaded for deletion, I have removed the image of lodha marquise and lodha trump towers that you have nominated for deletion and I hope that you upload some impressive and beautiful images of Mumbai as soon as possible.Best Wishes. Hi Joy, please change the pic of world crest with the same pic of world one and view , and please take a look in the all india building list, there is a discrepancy between mumbai list under 190m buildings and all india list under 190m, under all india list many buildings are absent from the list compared to mumbai list, so please take a look and add necessaryly. @Indianspy007 Okay brother i will look into the two lists and add the missing buildings, but the all India list is only of buildings above 190 m and the Mumbai list is of buildings above 150 m. One more thing regarding the images of omkar alta monte towers, i think we should add images when the buildings are complete or atleat have a complete look the images of omkar alta monte that you added dont have a complete look, the paint has even not been applied on the buildings the building have topped out but are not complete therefore they dont look good like your other images, what do you think? So there are total 86 buildings in the mumbai list over 190m while in all india list there is only 74 , it should be 88( including the 42 and rajeha revanta) right ! Indianspy007 (talk) 20:38, 12 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Indianspy007 Yes but many of those buildings have neither topped out nor been completed as per sources so I cannot add them just yet. The missing buildings are- Ruparel Ariana (not topped out still u/c), salsette towers 1 & 2 (also not topped still u/c), Raheja artesia (not topped still u/c), Park Mist (also u/c), Oberoi esquise towers 1,2 & 3 (completed but as per source height is 183 m) and celestia spaces( this is the only towers that have topped out in the nmissing list so I will be adding these towers shortly). Also regarding the image of 360west tower B, I had changed it because the old image has more clarity and better color coordination and is brighter that the new one and i prefer it. ok, regarding the pics i want to tell u something, why i am replacing the old pics because i dont have copy-right permission for those pics, 360west old pic may be claimed , and the latest pic has no copy-right issues, regarding lodha trump and marquise, the old pic hasbeen requested to take down as some real-estate group is using that pics on their websites, so the current lodha trump and marquise pic hasbeen nominated for deletion, i will replace that pic after some time, and whenever u want to change any pic, please discuss here first, as i know which one is copy-righted or copyright free, thanks. @Indianspy007 Brother i don't have any problem with the images you uploaded i will just change the kohinoor square image to what it was before you had uploaded your image, another thing i wanted to say to you for a long time is regarding the oberoi sky city images, could you please upload some better images of oberoi sky city because the current images show a couple of auto rickshaws and i personally think that we as wikipedia editors should portray a positive side of our country, there is plenty of negativity out there in regards to India and Mumbai as well so please do something with the oberoi sky city images, otherwise its all good. thanks Joy goel (talk) 19:15, 4 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

chill, we are not in a hurry, front image or back image doesn't matter for me, what matters is the pixel density/quality of the image, don't try to tell me which pic is better and which one is poor, do u think i am joking around with u here ? giving my crucial time to upload and edit so that somebody like you randomly revert that and calling it poor !

and regarding world crest, that pic is quite darkish, while uploading i have edited the pic like that, while others are quite natural looking with a blue sky, don't you understand this simple thing , why u always have to disagree with me over pic again and again ?

hi there indianspy007, I just wanted to tell you bro that I agree with you that your lodha pic is of better pixel quality but your pics don't look that good like joys pic that pic looks like shinning tall Skyscraper, I have always wished that india and Mumbai would have Skyscrapers like we see in foreign country your pic does not look like that so let your pic be there for lodha world view and please I request you please let joys pic be there for lodha world one please do not revert bro. Hey Vijaydanny, any kind disagreements should be sorted out by discussion which we should have done initially here(talk page) instead of reverting each other edits again and again, Bro my only goal is to upload the best pics for our buildings, for that i went though a lot of hustle and bustle in order to upload pics as most of the pics are copy-righted and i have reach out to the copy-right holder and make them agree to upload their pics on wikipedia, many times i got rejected, its a time consuming process, and then when i upload that pics u guyz revert it back, that hurts me the most.
