To Airbus' credit though...one of their airplanes did successfully become a boat even with the electronic flight envelope override protection, and Sully states in his autobiography that he wanted more pitch up than the airplane would give him. Who knows what would have happened if he had the extra pitch. Alas the whole electronic control philosophy is 6 one way, half a dozen the other. If it ain't Boeing, I ain't going! Nomination of K-T Line for deletion[edit]
