The article The Conquest of Constantinople has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No claim of significance

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Like It Never Was Before[edit]

Hallo Inwind, alles gut?

Like It Never Was Before was started as a redirect by me, and you expanded it to an article. In these cases, I believe you are the one who deserves "creator credits". As nobody apart from you has made substantial edits to the article, the simple solution is that I move it to User:Inwind/Like It Never Was Before without leaving a redirect. From there you can restart it in mainspace by copy-pasting it. Let me know what you think. Sam Sailor 16:55, 19 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:A Royal Home in Wales.jpg[edit]

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:A Royal Home in Wales.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 17:02, 16 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Marie Zielcke requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. A tag has been placed on Jean-Bernard Pommier requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from http://www.bach-cantatas.com/Bio/Pommier-Jean-Bernard.htm. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". Martin Haldbo Hansen moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you created on 7 August 2015‎, Martin Haldbo Hansen, does not have enough content, sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved this article to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the title) where you can incubate the draft article with minimal disruption. When you feel this draft article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Ways to improve Marianna Fontana[edit]

Hello, Inwind,

Thank you for creating Marianna Fontana.

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

I'm not seeing much in the way of secondary sources with significant coverage on this person (though I suspect that most that are available are not in english). Arguably meets WP:NACTOR, but really needs at minimum one more independent reliable source with significant coverage to demonstrate meeting the GNG. Can we fill out a bit about personal life etc?

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Insertcleverphrasehere}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

Hi Inwind. When you move pages like "Like Water for Chocolate" for diambiguation purposes, please check to make sure that there aren't any non-free files being used in the article. All non-free files are required to have separate specific non-free use rationales for each use; so, when you change the name of an article, the rationale also needs to be correspondingly changed to avoid problems like this. I caught this and re-added the file to the infobox, but non-free files which aren't being used in any articles can be speedily deleted per WP:F5 after five days. -- Marchjuly (talk) 05:04, 6 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Same thing happened with respect to Only the Animals (short story collection). If you've made any more page moves like this, please go back and check to see if you inadvertantly created and non-free file problems. If nobody catches them before five days pass, such files are likely to be deleted. -- Marchjuly (talk) 05:53, 6 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Principles (retailer) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://www.vintagewardrobe.ro/en/cumpara/rochie-retro-rosie-cercuri-ivoire-anii-80-7494987.

If you would like to rename, merge or delete categories, the proper step is to go to WP:CFD and make a nomination or do a speedy rename. Do not empty categories "out of process" for a new category. Gustav Fischer disambiguation[edit]

I see you moved Gustav Fischer to Gustav Fischer (explorer). Does that mean he's no longer primary topic? Are you going to make the original one a disambiguation page and redirect the incoming links to explorer? AngusW🐶🐶F (barksniff) 20:54, 28 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Emilis Vėlyvis notability[edit]

Dear Inwind,

Thank you for baptizing the new Emilis Vėlyvis article. An American, New York-born editor onel5969 has questioned Emilis' notability. In response, I have added content referenced by three independent, reliable non-English media sources, delfi.lt, Lithuanian TV3 and Lietuvos rytas. In addition, a new section "Selected awards and nominations" has been introduced.

I therefore deem the Velyvis' notability criteria has been satisfied.

I have informed onel5969 on his talk page and have requested to remove the "notability" tag. onel5969 has not responded. I can not remove the notability tag due to possible conflict of interest because I have started the article about Emilis.

Can you please remove the notability tag?

Thank you for your help and attention,

Mit freundlichen Grüßen,

Disambiguation link notification for January 23[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Sharon Duncan-Brewster, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Monica. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

As Green As It Gets moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, As Green As It Gets, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Hello, Inwind

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Significa liberdade, and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I’ve proposed an article that you started, Maro Kontou, for deletion because it's a biography of a living person that lacks references. To prevent the deletion, please add a reference to the article. You may remove the deletion tag yourself once the article has at least one reliable source.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Significa liberdade}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

Ways to improve Brother's Keeper (2021 film)[edit]

Hello, Inwind,

Thank you for creating Brother's Keeper (2021 film).

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

Hi Steel1943. The article as it stands is borderline for meeting WP:NFILM and would really need to be expanded with additional WP:RS sources to demonstrate notability. It would benefit from an explanation of the plot, and the addition of a 'Reception' section. It would also benefit from addition to relevant Wikiprojects.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Bastun}}. Remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

Edit summaries[edit]

Information icon Hello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. To help yourself remember, you may wish to check the "prompt me when entering a blank edit summary" box in your preferences. Thanks! Laterthanyouthink (talk) 05:32, 15 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
