Please help me with... having the Draft:Ion I. Lapedatu I have created reviewed so that it could be published. Is there anything specific I must do to this effect? Furthermore, I would like it to be connected with the article with the same title on ro.wikipedia.org Thanks

Ioana Maior (talk) 10:08, 25 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to the English Wikipedia! I have added the "Articles for creation" template to the top of Draft:Ion I. Lapedatu. If you click the green "Submit" button, that will send it for review, and an experienced user will either accept it or give you feedback.
Once it is in the main encyclopedia, you should find that it is automatically linked by Wikidata to the Romanian article, and inter-language links will appear in the left-hand sidebar on both articles. Regards, JohnCD (talk) 11:32, 25 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Help me![edit]

Please help me with... The article about "Alexandru I. Lapedatu" has been published with the title "Alexandru Lapedatu". It is mandatory to keep the initial "I." in the name to avoid confusion with other family members. Note that the same writing is used for his twin brother "Ion I. Lapedatu" that also has a published article. I understansd that this change requires the intervention of an administrator - please help! Ioana Maior (talk) 10:15, 10 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, I can help you. Do not worry, this change does not need the intervention of an admin. To resolve this dispute, I need to ask you a question. Is Alexandru I. Lapedatu refferend in this format in your sources? If so, I will rename the page. If not, sorry, we cannot carry out the move. I am working according to the WP:UCRN policy, if you would like to know. Do not worry. Cheers, FriyMan Per aspera ad astra 15:49, 10 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Sources seem uniformly to refer to him as "Alexandru Lapedatu". Thus that's what our article should be named, too. OlEnglish corrected the page name (see Help:Moving a page on how to rename pages). Huon (talk) 21:23, 10 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
As well as that, people who will use his initial are going to be redirected to the page anyways, as the Alexandru I. Lapedatu page is a redirect from a move right now, so do not worry. Cheers, FriyMan Per aspera ad astra 04:01, 11 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
