3RR[edit]

This message regards the article List of sovereign states: You are in danger of violating the three-revert rule. Please cease further reverts or you may be blocked from further editing. --Latinus 20:33, 26 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Um, well, you were warned, and verily it has happened: I've blocked you [1] for WP:3RR on List of sovereign states. Please take the time off to read up on wiki rules, in particular 3RR and WP:NPOV William M. Connolley 22:01, 26 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not judging you on content or correctness, but on 3RR. Please read the rules. William M. Connolley 23:29, 26 February 2006 (UTC).[reply]
Ok I understand obut the 3RR but why am I being blocked from editing the Talk page as well? Irakliy81 23:33, 26 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Irakliy81. I think the answer to the question is that when you're blocked, you automatically can't edit any page but your own talk. But the block will expire in 24 hours, so you can come back after that. I hope this doesn't discourage you from participating constructively! I'm glad to answer any other questions on my talk page .Peace, delldot | talk 23:37, 26 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Delldot, thank you very much for a prompt response. Irakliy81 23:49, 26 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I've blocked you again, same reason as before, same page, sigh. *This time* its only 24h again; if you do this again the blocks will start getting longer. William M. Connolley 20:55, 28 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I am sorry but I can not agree with this. I have not violated the 3RR so I cannot be blocked for the same thing again. In the last 24 hours I have modified “List of Sovereign States” article 8 times. Out of those 4 were edits of my own changes (these should not be counted toward the 3 reverts) and 2 were reverts of vandalism by Nightstallion (this also should not be counted toward the 3 reverts), who reverted the article w/o providing any explanation for his actions what so ever. Thus, the number of times I changed the article that qualifies as reverts is only 2. If I am misunderstanding something please explain. Irakliy81 22:06, 28 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Please re-read the rules, *carefully* William M. Connolley 22:37, 28 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Results[edit]

Hi, the IP test results have come out (Wikipedia:Requests for CheckUser#User:Pirveli, User:Irakliy81, and User:Papa Carlo) and it appears there is no sockpuppetry. I apologise for my suspicions. --Latinus 22:41, 27 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Reply[edit]

They're right under your bullet points. ;) --Khoikhoi 02:02, 28 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your reply Irakliy. It's interesting that these peoples came to Georgia so recent ago. I'm sure that Abkhaz nationalists think differently, however. But anyways, when these groups came to Georgia, did they get along well? I'm sure the Soviets had something to do with starting ethnic tensions between the groups.
I'm sorry that you cannot return to Abkhazia. It's so sad what nationalism can result in.
By the way, what do you think the future of Abkhazia is? Sorry I couldn't give you as lengthy a reply as you had done, I guess I'm kinda tired right now, it's late. --Khoikhoi 05:41, 28 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Oh sure I know all about the genocide. See the articles Ubykh people and Ubykh language about a people that the Russians basically exterminated, although my guess is that they currently are assimilated in Turkey. Ah yes, the Abkhazians are similar to the Adyghe. Their languages are very close.
The Soviets always did things like that. I think they contributed a lot to the violence with the Armenians and Azerbaijanis after the Soviet Union fell. What a crazy world. --Khoikhoi 07:18, 28 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Oops[edit]

I guess I didn't notice. I'll vote right away. I've been pretty busy at Talk:Kurdish people and Talk:Iranian peoples. --Khoikhoi 03:04, 5 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

3RR block[edit]

You have been temporarily blocked for violation of the three-revert rule. Please feel free to return after the block expires, but also please make an effort to discuss your changes further in the future.

The duration of the block is 24 hours. Here are the reverts in question. please keep in mind that this is not the first time that you are blocked for this reason, and repeated breach of 3RR usually carries longer blocks. Since your previous blocks are from well over a year, tho, I'm only applying the minimum usual time. I urge you to consider this before engaging in further reverts. Sorry, and regards, Phaedriel - 11:11, 23 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

List of sovereign states[edit]

May I ask you a question? Why did you delete Transnistria, Abkhazia and South Ossetia from the list, but kept Nagorno Karabakh? What makes that particular state different?Dimts 05:13, 27 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Congratulations with the Day of Independence. Long live Georgia!
