The Hindu sources discussed that Barelvi muslims considered and elected Asjad Raza Khan as the Grand Mufti, it is mentioned in the news article. You just removed that. You don't even have a good reason to remove! Don’t you consider The Hindu newspaper as a sufficient reliable source? The Samastha organisation spoked out against Kanthapuram and supported Asjad in the Grand Muftiship! The content was only about that with citations after the sentence.
