In response to your feedback[edit]

Hi Irishfrisian, and thank you for your feedback. Talk pages are important for gaining consensus on what should be in articles, so if you feel a section should not be included, you should set out your reasons on the talkpage rather than simply blanking the content. Your argument can then be discussed and considered by others.

Edits to talkpages can be made in the same way as edits to articles; just use the "Edit" tab at the top of the page.

May 2012[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. A page you recently created, Clash of warriors, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines for new pages, so it will be removed shortly (if it hasn't been already). Please use the sandbox for any tests, and consider using the Article Wizard. For more information about creating articles, you may want to read Your first article. You may also want to read our introduction page to learn more about contributing. Thank you. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 23:31, 5 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Clash of warriors requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Ducknish (talk) 23:33, 5 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with Clash of warriors. If you believe the page should not be deleted, you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Click here to contest this speedy deletion, which appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. Please remember to log in when you edit Wikipedia, otherwise you and your IP address may be permanently blocked from further editing - particularly if the edits and/or created articles are inappropriate. Thank you for your recent contributions, such as Clash of warriors. Getting started creating new articles on Wikipedia can be tricky, and you might like to try creating a draft version first, which you can then ask for feedback on if necessary, with less risk of speedy deletion. Do make sure you also read help available to you, including Your First Article and the Tutorial. You might also like to try the Article Wizard, which has an option to create a draft version. Thank you. Eeekster (talk) 00:40, 6 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Clash of warriors requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader.

Your recent edits[edit]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button or located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when they said it. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 01:04, 6 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning. The next time you create an inappropriate page, as you did at Clash of warriors, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Eeekster (talk) 01:06, 6 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Article creation[edit]

This is just to let you know that you will no longer be able to create the page Clash of warriors in mainspace without the approval of an administrator. If you wish to write the article, please create it in your Sandbox first, then ask for it to be reviewed by me or another admin. If appropriate, you may also wish to read WP:Guidance for younger editors and find out exactly what vandalism is. Thanks. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 01:23, 6 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Warrior (disambiguation)[edit]

Stop adding the redlink Clash of warriors to the disambiguation page. First, there is no article with that title and second, the title is not ambiguous. olderwiser 00:32, 7 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from Stonewall riots. When removing content, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the content has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. June 2012[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. I am glad to see that you are discussing a topic. However, as a general rule, talk pages such as Talk:Dan Savage are for discussion related to improving the article, not general discussion about the topic. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. Thank you. Dennis Bratland (talk) 19:59, 5 June

Native American Mascot controversy[edit]

Your comments on the talk page were in a section that was old and difficult to locate, so I will respond here. You may have a point about Vikings, but I doubt that there is any discrimination against Scandinavians based upon their warrior ancestors. The point of the article is that Native Americans do endure that discrimination, and are often not thought of as modern participants in society while retaining their heritage, unlike other ethnic groups. Ethnic stereotyping of Indians is an expression of the low regard or outright hostility toward them, so I do not think eliminating mascots will increase that hostility.FigureArtist (talk) 17:52, 20 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Reverts[edit]

Irishrisian, please do not revert again until you have a consensus at that article. It's very clear that your edits are contested. I want to be clear; since this account now appears to be dedicated to edit warring at that article, you will be blocked if you revert again. Kuru (talk) 01:40, 6 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Review of closing.[edit]

If you have a problem with the way I closed the split discussion on Largest organisms then you should not edit war, but rather you should ask for a review. Challenging a closing gives the details on how to do this. That article does recomend that you try discussing with the closer i.e. me. I consider [[3]] to be you discussing the matter with me. In case you have not worked it out, that has not convinced me that my closing of the discussion was in any way wrong. If you still have a problem then the link I have given would appear to be your remedy rather than edit warring. Op47 (talk) 17:04, 7 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  1. The page has been around since 2006. There's been plenty of time to add citations.
  2. Contrary to your assertion that I don't try to help, I added every useful citation on the page.
  3. My interpretation of SYNTH is perfectly correct. The term "great power" has very specific meaning.
  4. You can add sources before restoring the text, but you don't seem to have anything useful to add. Srnec (talk) 19:00, 22 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
incorrect you deleted several useful citations also your interpretation of wp synth completely ignores Wikipedia:What SYNTH is not and also the term great power is a rather vague term synonymous with great nation and great empire the lede of an article has the ability to define what qualifies for a list you have been completely inflexible with everyone Irishfrisian (talk) 07:11, 1 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
