Momoyama Harue moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Momoyama Harue, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Some baklava for you![edit]

Hi thanks for creating Takahashi Deishū which I’ve just reviewed. When translating material from one wiki to another you need to state the source in your edit summary when you create the article. There’s also a template you can add to the talk page: I’ve added it for you. Mccapra (talk) 23:23, 30 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Soeda Azenbō requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://smiletimegh.com/soeda-azenbo-biography-career-awards-net-worth-facts-and-life-story/. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Hi. For more than a month, I wasn't able to check up on Wikipedia due to my router being destroyed. Thankfully, I'm now back.
It's very unfortunate that the article on Azenbō I started was taken down, as the copyright claim was fraudulent. It appears the text in the claim source was copied from an early revision of the Wikipedia article. I will provide here several pieces of evidence to defend myself.
  • A few points:
    • I have a practice of logging articles I create including their original publication dates in a collapsible box on my user page. As suggested by the timestamp still available in the log, I first published the Azenbō article during January, not long after creating my Wikipedia account. If you suspect that I added that timestamp at a later time, you can of course confirm its legitimacy via the edit history of my user page. In comparison, note that the webpage I am alleged to have stolen the text from is stamped with a date indicating creation during March.
    • At the end of the webpage provided with the copyright claim, there's a plaintext-smalltext « [ja] » after Tsuchitori Toshiyuki's name. Although they were careful to trim out the citation marks, they failed to edit out the ja:wiki illumination link that was present before I had created the article on Tsuchitori (at which point I swapped the illumination for a standard internal link).
    • In addition, you may note details like the format and titling of paragraphs (Biography/Legacy) which can be compared to the structure of my first article on Ishihara Shikō, as well as listing in the page title things like "net worth" and "awards" which are not present in the text body.
I hope this statement gives an indication of my disappointment that, not only was an article I put a great deal of effort into starting obliterated for no reason, but I was also accused of being a thief.
I hope that better oversight with regard to spurious copyright claims can be put in place to protect the efforts of individual editors in the future. Because I had no internet access, I wasn't able to log in and defend the article before it was obliterated. Is there any way I can ensure that other users be made aware when such a claim is made against future articles I write or contribute to, so that someone would be available to test the veracity of the claim and thereby preserve the article? I thought about hooking articles up to project task forces, but I don't know if that would actually increase visibility.
I originally posted this on April 6, but I didn't [reply] directly so I'm putting it up again. Thank you for reading. Ishiura (talk) 17:45, 7 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

You've forgotten to revert the link Heikichi Yamamoto with your Yamamoto Heikichi. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 95.244.87.103 (talk) 10:13, 20 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Ishiura, please note that the request made here was an attempt to have you edit the Sankebetsu brown bear incident on behalf of an editor who has been blocked and continuously evading blocks. All edits to the article since December 24 have been block evasion by that editor (resulting in semi-protection of the article), and in addition the link itself should not have been changed per WP:NOTBROKEN. I do not at all believe it was your intention to be editing for a blocked editor, but I am going to revert the most recent edit to the article under WP:PROXYING. If you have any questions or concerns about this, please let me know. Best, Dekimasuよ! 05:02, 2 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for February 1[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Tanigawadake Ropeway, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Cable car. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
