The article Islam Diaa has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unsourced WP:BLP with dubious notability.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. noq (talk) 17:46, 24 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You should wait for others to write an article about subjects in which you are personally involved, as you did at Islam Diaa. This applies to articles about you, your achievements, your band, your business, your publications, your website, your relatives, and any other possible conflict of interest.

Creating an article about yourself is strongly discouraged. If you create such an article, it might be listed on articles for deletion. Deletion is not certain, but many feel strongly that you should not start articles about yourself. This is because independent creation encourages independent validation of both significance and verifiability. All edits to articles must conform to Wikipedia:No original research, Wikipedia:Neutral point of view, and Wikipedia:Verifiability.

If you are not "notable" under Wikipedia guidelines, creating an article about yourself may violate the policy that Wikipedia is not a personal webspace provider and would thus qualify for speedy deletion. If your achievements, etc., are verifiable and genuinely notable, and thus suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later. (See Wikipedia:Wikipedians with articles.) Thank you. Ian.thomson (talk) 17:48, 24 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have nominated Islam Diaa, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Islam Diaa. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. Tim Song (talk) 14:17, 29 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

January 2010[edit]

Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion pages, as you did with Islam Diaa. Doing so won't stop the discussion from taking place. You are, however, welcome to comment about the proposed deletion on the appropriate page. Thank you. Drmies (talk) 17:51, 29 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not vandalize pages, as you did with this edit to Islam Diaa. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing. Uncle Dick (talk) 18:08, 29 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning. You will be blocked from editing the next time you vandalize a page, as you did with this edit to Islam Diaa. Uncle Dick (talk) 18:10, 29 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

File source and copyright licensing problem with File:Alexchadwick2.jpg[edit]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Alexchadwick2.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, we also need to know the terms of the license that the copyright holder has published the file under, usually done by adding a licensing tag. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged files may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the file will be deleted 48 hours after 06:10, 30 January 2010 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ww2censor (talk) 06:10, 30 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Islam Diaa - article possibly getting embarasing[edit]

May I suggest that you voluntarily request deletion of subject article. Winning IT Olympiad's does not make you notable - it means that you have the potential to eventually become notable. In other words, do something with the knowledge and skills. You have also already been made aware of WP:COI - intelligent, educated people such as yourself realize that self-promotion gets you nowhere. We have editors with Master's degrees and Doctorates who do not have article about themselves because they're not notable! The article has been WP:CSD'd, WP:PROD'd and WP:AFD'd ... dozens of established editors have suggested you remove it - take their advice. (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 10:44, 30 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
