Hi, this is really messed up. I stayed up till 1 am editing this all yesterday, I at least need the draft back so I can continue working on this. Who can I reach out to. Isumi12 (talk) 14:02, 1 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You can ask the admin who deleted the draft if they would let you have it back, but note that copyright violations are usually not refunded.
Incidentally, the same admin also posted the below COI query, which you haven't yet responded to. You should do that before approaching them. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 14:10, 1 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Isumi12. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Isumi12. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Isumi12|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. Seraphimblade Talk to me 05:59, 1 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I am not being compensated for my edits, the company itself is a non-profit. Isumi12 (talk) 15:23, 1 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
That doesn't really answer the question. Firstly, whether it's a non-profit, for-profit, or something else, doesn't matter. Secondly, whether you are being explicitly compensated for your edits to Wikipedia isn't the only scenario covered by our paid-editing rules. If you work for the organisation (whether for pay or eg. as an intern), you are considered a paid editor. And even if you don't work for them but have some interest in their success, financial or otherwise, you may also come under this provision.
How would you describe your relationship with this organisation, in your own words? Thanks, -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 15:40, 1 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
im just a student in our journalism program, so I don't get paid for my work on wikipedia. Isumi12 (talk) 05:24, 2 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
