COI tag[edit]

There was a COI tag slapped on the article by a drive-by without the needed discussion started. Please express concerns here. GenQuest "Talk to Me" 20:33, 14 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

GenQuest, Oops, I missed something. The edit summary of COI tag says, "Image is uploaded as "own work", but it looks as a small version of professional image". The image is however changed, but I've similar concern for this one as well. Pinging the article creator Itgemgirl1, how does this professional image belong to you and how's it your own work. Thanks. ─ The Aafī (talk) 02:58, 15 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
You're welcome. GenQuest "Talk to Me" 02:59, 15 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I got permission from the photographer who took this picture and they gave me full right to use it in open domain. It was a Picture taken of Melissa B. On stage live. If I need to submit another different image let me know. Thank you. Itgemgirl1 (talk) 03:28, 15 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Itgemgirl1, Whenever you upload images that are from "other" photographers or just clicked by someone else. You should not upload them as "your own work", rather as "other's work". You may see WP:UPI for guidelines. Once the image issue is completely addressed. Feel free to remove the COI tag. Thanks ─ The Aafī (talk) 04:17, 15 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

New cited sources on Melissa B. (Melissa Bailey)[edit]

I have been doing a little more research on her technology side with the Girl Geek Dinners. Did a search and found these to help beef up the article a little more. These links can help with alot more. Did a Search as " Melissa B. girl geek" and a few of these came up. [1] [2] [3] [4] [5][6] — Preceding unsigned comment added by Itgemgirl1 (talkcontribs)
