Template:Row numbers for table row numbers[edit]

Hi. I noticed that you added row numbers to the table for Nandamuri Balakrishna filmography. There is a template called Template:Row numbers which would be very handy as the manual numbering may sometimes be mixed up due to human errors. It's better to use the template, also making it easy for maintenance! -- DaxServer (talk) 18:52, 15 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, would you mind stopping the addition of numbering? I have asked if we have a consensus for it. You can follow and leave your comments here - Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Film/Indian cinema task force#Numbering for the films table under Filmography -- DaxServer (talk) 19:04, 15 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

April 2021[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Chiranjeevi filmography, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. I have reverted the edits you made. You have been asked to achieve a consensus at WP:ICTF for adding numbering to the tables. You have not participated in the discussion and has continued editing. Please stop editing in this regard and achieve consensus before you edit any further. -- DaxServer (talk) 16:02, 16 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I have also reverted the edits at Venkatesh filmography (revert), Nagarjuna filmography (revert) and Nandamuri Balakrishna filmography (revert). Please achieve consensus -- DaxServer (talk) 16:34, 16 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Please stop reverting back to your edits. Please first participate in the discussion. Read more why Wikipedia requires a discussion: Wikipedia:BOLD, revert, discuss cycle. -- DaxServer (talk) 16:51, 16 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Sri Venkateswara Creations[edit]

July 2021[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm DaxServer. Your recent edit(s) to the page Naresh (actor) appear to have added incorrect information, so they have been reverted for now. If you believe the information was correct, please cite a reliable source or discuss your change on the article's talk page. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. -- DaxServer (talk) 18:23, 1 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello DaxServer, here is how I came to the conclusion that Naresh (actor) was born in 1964, and not 1960.

1. He mentioned in this chit-chat with Krishna and Ali recently that he was 7 when he acted in Pandanti Kapuram.[1] 2. In his interview with RK on ABN, he mentioned that he made his debut as a hero at the age of 17 in 1982, and he got married at the age of 19. [2] 3. During the launch of Vijay Krishna Green Studios at Nanakramguda, producer Adiseshagiri Rao mentioned that both Jayasudha and Naresh (actor) made their debut with this film about 50 years ago.[3] 4. In her interview with Yamuna Kishore for iDream, Jayasudha mentioned that she was around 12 or 13 during the making of Pandanti Kapuram, her debut. [4] 5. Finally, in the movie, Pandanti Kapuram, which was released in 1972, you can clearly see [[Naresh (actor) was about half the size as Jayasudha.[5]

Do you still think that I am wrong? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Itsramhere (talkcontribs)

Thanks for the links. I have actually watched the first two. I was looking at if he mentions his DOB anywhere, but he didn't. I haven't really made the calculations like you did. Although two things I heard is that he mentioned his debut at 17 and marriage at 19. I haven't added them back to the article yet. Would you mind posting at the Wikipedia:Help desk and ask how to consider the primary sources like this one? (And possibly ping me as well so I could also participate. Thanks! -- DaxServer (talk) 19:48, 1 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Itsramhere and DaxServer, I have restored the year as before per this source which calls hims 59 in 2019, ie, 1960.
If we are using WP:BLPSELFPUB for birthyear, we might very well cite his twitter bio (verified) that says 20 January 1963. Personally, I wouldn't have any objection, if its accompanied by atleast one other reliable source. -- Ab207 (talk) 17:10, 12 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Ab207 If you could find some sources, please do so! I haven't done any research on Naresh yet. -- DaxServer (talk) 17:33, 12 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Minor edits[edit]

Information icon Hi Itsramhere! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Ravi Teja filmography that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia – it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Please do not unnecessary split the tables; see WP:FILMOGRAPHY for guidelines Ab207 (talk) 16:59, 12 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
