Khet (disambiguation)

I believe this was your edit but please disregard if not. Just wanted to let you know that your edit of the Khet disambiguation page lead to some bold redefinitions. Khet is not a the name of a district in Bangkok, Thailand, nor the name of a province in Cambodia. These are administrative subdivisions in those two countries based on a Pali word. Bangkok's districts are especially referred to as khets (which differs from the rest of Thailand where other they are called amphoe) and Cambodia's provinces are referred to as khets (in the Khmer language). --Dara (talk) 00:05, 7 July 2013 (UTC)

Derekh Eretz

I don't know what makes you think that people searching for "Derekh Eretz" are really searching for the philosophy of Torah im Derech Eretz (Hebrew for Torah with Derech Eretz). Maybe thei'r searching for Derech Eretz itself (lit. "way of land"; often refers to proper behavior, or proper ethical behavior). Or maybe thei'r searching for tractate Derekh Eretz Rabbah (as is the case if someone happens to click the link at Jose_ben_Halafta#cite_ref-31). -- -- -- 19:52, 10 July 2013 (UTC)

Dark Knight

"partial title match in See also" Sorry, but I do not see what you're referring to. These are the publications listed in the comics section:

• Batman: The Dark Knight, an ongoing comic book series written by David Finch, started in 2011
• The Dark Knight Returns, graphic novel originally published as Batman: The Dark Knight, a 1986 miniseries by Frank Miller
• Batman: Legends of the Dark Knight, a monthly comic book series from 1989 to 2007

The other two both specify ongoing/monthly comic book series. Without "graphic novel," there's no similar specification for The Dark Knight Returns. The Dark Knight Returns was not a miniseries. It's the graphic novel that compiles the pieces of the miniseries 'Batman: The Dark Knight. The "graphic novel" part is an important distinction. "Dark Knight" is not ambiguous with "Legends of the Dark Knight" -- the latter is a [{WP:PTM|partial title match]]. "Dark Knight" is ambiguous with "The Dark Knight", the post-colon part of the titles "Batman: The Dark Knight" and "Batman: The Dark Knight", so those entries are not partial title matches. -- JHunterJ (talk) 10:57, 11 July 2013 (UTC)

Ma'aser

1. The term ma'aser always refers to a tithe in Jewish law. (In other contexts, a different Hebrew word for a 10th (asirith) is used.)
2. I don't see what's wrong with "tithes in Judaism include". Why change that to "see also"?
3. Perhaps it can be written something like this:

• Ma'aser is the Hebrew word for a tithe. Tithes in Jewish law include:
  • First tithe
  • Second tithe, etc. ...

If you insist on using "see also" (for some reason, I'm not that thrilled about that option), then perhaps we can just turn the page into a redirect to "Tithe#Hebrew Bible" or "Tithe#Judaism"; or maybe rename it "List of tithes in Judaism" or "List of tithes in Jewish law"? If you are stuck on Darrin Drader[1] at all, I can tell you that he has also written a novel called "Echoes of Olympus" and a serial called "Heroes of Gracia". Not Assuming Good Faith on Village Pump

Your response to points being discussed were not assuming good faith. I know your failure to apply WP:BRD and instead apply WP:JUSTAPOLICY in 3 reverts was a bit embarrassing, but nobody reported you. There's no need to get defensive. Your accusation that I was forum shopping are unfounded. I've used the appropriate forums for 3 separate issues. Although events may have been related in that one event may have lead to the other, the goals were all separate. My goal in the article page was to improve the article. My goal on the MOS talk page was to improve the MOS. My goal in the village pump was to discuss a conflict of interest that can occur in any MOS guide, not the one in particular. If you keep appearing in every discussion I have regarding guides or policy and accusing me of form shopping when the goals are obviously different, I will report you for WP:HOUNDING. I created the "Kurdish separatism" template back then - it was many months ago. Now it is simply HistorNE disruptive behaviour and violation of WP:CIVIL. @JHunterJ: While finally issuing a WP:RM move request, HistorNE still performs disruptive edits - he still insists to radically alter the content of requested page and topic related articles ([2], [3], [4]) in accordance with the desired result of his requested move, even though the move is in process. In general, he is also particularly unfair with WP:RS, removing credible historians who don't fit his world view (like removing McDowall [5]) and misusing others, as well as trying to stalk his edits ([6], [7]). I don't think this is helpful for the Kurdish and Iranian topics, and considering his general disruptive behavior for the last 2 months and suspiciously bold and professional edits, i'm thinking of asking an investigation on this user in general. In the meanwhile, i would like a suggestion how to pause his aggressive edits and forcing him into standard procedure of WP:RM.Greyshark09 (talk) 15:26, 12 August 2013 (UTC)

I've explained everything on talkpage, Greyshark09 misused all three sources. Considering other edits, when I remove something it isn't without reason; I always give explanation on talkpage (examples: [8][9][10]). When Greyshark09 don't like it, he never replies on article/user talkpage but simply undo my edits (including WP:RS) and call it as "disruptive". When he does reply, he's doing it with very aggressive and arrogant attitude (refers to upper comment also which I consider as insulting and frame-up). You're free to check any of my edit and consult me about it, and if you find out that I don't have referenced explanation for any single of them, you're free to block me indefinitely. Attempt to delete an article

Hi, a user Trust Is All You Need tried to delete an article 1970 Syrian Corrective Revolution by copy-pasting it into "Corrective Movement" [11][12] (non-standard WP:RM), and later blanking the new page and creating a redirect [13], which technically resulted in merging/deletion without any discussion. He also tried to edit-war on this [14], and even wrote some insults [15] (doesn't matter so much). Can you protect the original article 1970 Syrian Corrective Revolution from blanking? Corrective Movement

Its not a notable event in itself, and its not a controversial change .... And the information in the article is false... "Corrective Movement" means the reforms which Assad initiated after he ousted Jadid, he corrected his mistakes.... Missing Requested move discussion for Byron Scott

Hi, talk:Byron Scott cryptically refers to the move discussion taking place on... talk:Byron Scott. I suspect that the discussion actually was on Talk:Byron Scott (disambiguation), which you deleted. This seems an unusual RM scenario, where the result is to delete one of the pages that was proposed for moving and replace it with hatnotes. No problem there, but can you restore the discussion to talk:Byron Scott by a history merge, or copy it there so a record of the RM discussion is retained?
