Hi JMO, I saw that you made big changes to the lead sections of Absorption (electromagnetic radiation) and Normal mode. I'm sure your intention was to make them more accurate, but the result was that they (especially in the absorption case) became very difficult to understand for non-physicists. If you do further edits, could you please keep in mind that the articles and especially the lead sections should be easy to understand? Ulflund (talk) 12:21, 15 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

sn1987a[edit]

I like the explanations for the remnant "rings" around snr1987a, do you have references for the comments? We should be able to point each sentence to a reference, so later readers can dig further down through those references. If you have the information but aren't comfortable with Wikipedia's reference format structure, give me the information (on my talk page, click "new section", and put the information in text form), and I'll add them. Addition to quasar overview[edit]

I saw the material you added to quasar overview section and have to say it is the most dense writing I have ever found on WP. You need to keep in mind for whom you are writing. Although there is room for more complicated ideas to be presented, the more complicated the idea the better the writing needs to be to make it understandable by at least a small fractions of the readership. As it is, your addition is not understandable by more than 0.5% of the readership and it stands as an impediment to the article. Correct the matter or I will delete it.Zedshort (talk) 06:07, 20 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
