Welcome![edit]

Hello, JPG1987, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your recent edits to the page American Indian boarding schools did not conform to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and may have been removed. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations verified in reliable, reputable print or online sources or in other reliable media. Always provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles.

If you are stuck and looking for help, please see the guide for citing sources or come to the new contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

Christine Drazan[edit]

Hi! It seems you recently created an unreferenced biography of a living person: Christine Drazan. The community has decided that all new biographies of living persons must contain a reliable source that supports at least one statement made about the person in the article as per our verifiability policy. Please add references as soon as possible. Thanks! Jon698 (talk) 21:15, 29 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Doesn't matter what I do you are just going to change it back to the way you want it watchdog. JPG1987 (talk) 21:32, 29 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

It seriously took you less then a minute to get the notification I'd changed it and then to change it back. Wow. JPG1987 (talk) 21:34, 29 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Biased[edit]

Because writing on the talk page definitely fixes problems. The wiki watchdogs get to promote whatever they want. How empty does your life have to be to sit and wait for someone to make an edit so you can jump right on and change it back to fit your worldview? Seriously took some guy less than a minute to see it and change it. JPG1987 (talk) 21:30, 29 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

That's because they have a WP:WATCHLIST and probably just refreshed it. Happens a lot. Meanwhile you need to read WP:AGF and WP:CIVIL. Doug Weller talk 21:00, 19 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

They are for discussion related to improving the article in specific ways, based on reliable sources and the project policies and guidelines; they are not for use as a forum or chat room. Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to use talk pages for inappropriate discussion, as you did at Talk:Nazi Party, you may be blocked from editing. Doug Weller talk 20:58, 19 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Kevin McCarthy (California politician), without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use your sandbox for that. Removal of a source with no justification is never a good idea, especially when it is in a topic area where you've received a discretionary sanctions alert. Note the alert also applies to talk pages. Discretionary sanctions alert: post-1992 US politics[edit]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in post-1992 politics of the United States and closely related people. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

To opt out of receiving messages like this one, place {{Ds/aware}} on your user talk page and specify in the template the topic areas that you would like to opt out of alerts about. For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.
