A welcome from Sango123[edit]

Hello, JStewart, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions; I hope you like the place and decide to stay. We're glad to have you in our community! Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Though we all make goofy mistakes, here is what Wikipedia is not. If you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to see the help pages or add a question to the village pump. The Community Portal can also be very useful.

Happy editing!

P.S. I know you're not entirely new here, so you might find some of these links useless, but just take this as a friendly hello. :)

What do you mean by "I know you're not entirely new here?" You also said on the AWB registration page that you "used to edit before". I'd like to register you, but I can't if you only have 21 edits and 1 hours on Wikipedia. If you've edited anonymously before or something like that, just provide me proof and I'll be happy to register you for the AWB (assuming some other prominent admins over there agree, but I'm sure they will). Thanks! --M@thwiz2020 01:43, 21 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sorry where did I write "I know you're not entirely new here?" Anyways I think I will wait until I have 500 edits here because I can't remember how to do many things here like working with images. I will wait so please remove my name from the list for now. Thank you. --JStewart 01:47, 21 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I'm sorry, too - I should have clarified myself more. I began by addressing Sango123 and ended by addressing you. Sango wrote that comment above in his postscript, so I asked him what he meant, but then asked you what you meant by your comment. Sorry about that. Feel free to add yourself back to the registration list when you want. Anyways, do you know what Sango meant? --M@thwiz2020 01:54, 21 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
JStewart isn't entirely new since he posted "I used to edit wikipedia a little bit almost one year ago but I can't remember my password now, D'oh!" on his user page. Hope that clarifies things. :) Sango123 (talk) 01:58, 21 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Oh... well, a d'oh! on my behalf, then. And sorry to you, JStewart. JStewart, if you tell me your old username (and if it has >500 edits), I'll register you for the AWB. --M@thwiz2020 02:00, 21 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Its okay. Only have about 200 edits on the other account. And I forgot a lot about wikipedia I want to get some experience first. :( --JStewart 00:32, 24 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Password[edit]

Did you provide an e-mail address when signing up for your last account? According to the account creation page, "giving your e-mail address... enables you to request password reminders". I think this type of query would go to info-en@wikimedia.org. Regards, Sango123 (talk) 00:49, 21 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sure, no problem! Sango123 (talk) 00:53, 21 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding your participation in the aforementioned AfD (which resulted in no consensus) I would appreciate your opinions in the following AfD discussions. Thank you for your time. -- Krash (Talk) 15:37, 4 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry I could not vote on this. --James 08:15, 12 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Your vote from minutes ago on AfD[edit]

Hi, you just left a comment on the AfD page, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Log/2006_March_24 and I'm not sure it ended up in the right place, it doesn't seem to relate to the article you left it under. --Xyzzyplugh 00:25, 24 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I fixed it now. Thank you. --James 00:27, 24 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
