@P199: Thank you for the message. Sorry if I'm losing my patience. It's just I really felt down a while ago, and I thought I'm not a very worthy contributor 😭 And my health has been impacted by my habit of staying up late waiting for a consensus that I fear won't materialize and the centralized discussion will end up in a limbo like the fate of the 2013-14 era discussions. Sorry for all of my shortcomings and mistakes 😭 But perhaps through your encouragement, I might come back on issue of WP:AT for uniquely-named municipality names, albeit intermittently and needing to wait for the opinion polls or final, firm insights. Well, just be patient. Yes, sometimes consensus can take a long time (or sometimes not at all). Remember, WP:Wikipedia is a work in progress. Don't expect too much from other contributors, we're all volunteers. Just contribute where you can. My suggestion is to focus on adding actual content to articles, instead of getting involved in tedious WP politics. This is most important aspect of building an encyclopedia anyway, and not so controversial (provided content conforms to WP:5P2). Thanks for the suggestion @P199:. On the other hand I'm getting involved in gradual translation efforts at Tagalog Wikipedia, mostly related to geography or roads. Of course I always add {{Translated page}} at the talk page of each tlwiki article that I improved through the addition of translated materials. Discouraged again?[edit]

Hi JWilz12345. Discouraged again? At one time I also felt the same, as if all my contributions were pointless. But looking at it objectively, that is fortunately not the case -- most of my additional content have stood the test of time. Adding meaningful, well-researched content to stub articles is the most satisfying way of expanding WP (and will likely not be deleted or modified in a major way). In contrast, if you participate (too much) in the fruitless and endless debates about rather trivial things, you'll likely get frustrated and worn out. Like debates about article titles. In the end, it doesn't contribute one iota to the overall quality of WP. So I've decided not be overly concerned about it. I may add my insight/opinion once in a while, but it is not my main focus. If I may suggest, you can spend your energy in better ways to improve WP, like fighting vandalism or improving/adding references (see {{Resources for collaboration}}). My single reply to all[edit]

Maraming maraming salamat po @P199, Koressha, and Hiwilms:. Sorry if I'm a type of user (and also in real life a person) who tends to be highly sensitive and prone to depression. Some might say I'm immature, but in real life I don't want to get really into fights. Yes, I'm a Tsinoy, I am highly-neutral on West Philippine Sea issue (but leaning towards argument made by The Hague). On POGOs I condemn these. But I sought neutrality on every article that comes into my eyes. I said these because I fear some users might use my Tsinoy identity to smear me. 😞

But nevertheless, even if it was meant to be a joke, the "talker" tag has hurt me a bit. Yes, I might be a "madaldal na tao" (in Tagalog/Filipino), but in real life I'm a very shy person. I was about to consider a semiretirement, but I feel that leaving this enwiki, which I began as an IP editor creating List of reportedly haunted locations in the Philippines, does not solve things up. In fact, it heavily burdens me. After all some of my pleasant or relatively-pleasant edits before (from 2016 up to around late 2019), I cannot imagine what will be after I retire or semi-retire enwiki. I also want to move some more photos to Commons thru FileEx/Importer.

In the meantime, I will try to be productive at Tagalog Wikipedia, through translation efforts with the addition of {{Translated page}} tags. I'm also thinking of contributing or editing Tagalog Wikibooks and Wiktionary, both of which are very dormant unfortunately. Nevertheless, thank you for your encouraging remarks! Salamat po! @JWilz12345: Anyone's descent nor race will be never an issue here. Your edits will always be welcome. If you retire from the Wiki, it's like giving in to those bullies. If you need an encouraging story about getting back to those bullies, well, I was able to have one blocked indefinitely for his/her behavior. Do you get my point? Huwag panghinaan ng loob. We all hate the bullies 😃

Also, @Higad Rail Fan:, I only preserved the <cityname> only titles for several municipalities that are either unique or not having other tlwiki-worthy articles (e.g. tl:Calaca and tl:Basco). My only conflict is for Coron, Palawan. Pardon me if this talkpage might be an inappropriate venue for the following question, but I presume you're more active here hehe. Which is the primary topic for tl:Coron — tlwiki-wise and Philippine audience-wise—the municipality, the island, or the French settlement or commune? Well if that's the case, we can converse in my talk page anytime. Though, I will briefly drop my stand on that. You pointed out three or four distinctive characteristics regarding Coron, Palawan hence, it might either be 1) keep a single article for all, and creating "custom" sections that will succinctly tackle the municipality, island, and French settlements or communes, or 2) create new articles for those who pass WP:Notability and shift the focus to those that can be put together in an article. @Higad Rail Fan: I've just thought to create a disamb page under tl:Coron (paglilinaw) wikidata linked to Coron (which is also a disamb page), then add a hatnote above tl:Coron (using {{About}}), similar to what I did at tl:Basco, since I feel the famous tourist attraction of Coron corresponds to the municipality itself. btw, thanks for your suggestion, amd stay safe and healthy! :-) JWilz12345 (Talk|Contrib's.) 15:08, 21 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Higad Rail Fan: With regards to your article, it is fairly good, although a fix in referencing is needed because of a citation error ("Cite error: A list-defined reference with the name "NYTimes" has been invoked, but is not defined in the <references> tag (see the help page)."). I failed to fix that, hahaha. References really get the best of me sometimes! Though I'm incubating another article and I'll make sure that this time, it is written better with no more citation errors. Personally I prefer having templates so the references can be edited single-handedly in the section where it gets automatically sorted otherwise.
