Zebra Fish[edit]

Hi Ja John

It is not wikipedia practice to put common names of fish in the species taxobox.

Zebra fish is in any case incorrect. The common name of Danio rerio is Zebra Danio which is listed in the common names section on the danio page. According to Fishbase http://www.fishbase.org/ComNames/CommonNameSearchList.php there are three fish with that common name but not Danio rerio.

Because there are several fish known as Zebrafish there is a wikipedia disambiguation page Zebrafish covering this name, I will however add Zebrafish to the common names section of Danio rerio as it is often used

License tagging for Image:PBL.gif[edit]
