deletion[edit]

Hi, you need to give me a clue, like the name of the article! jimfbleak (talk) 17:59, 23 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The deleted text did not give any references to establish that the company met the notability guidelines. It also appeared promotional. I protected the article after its fifth deletion. jimfbleak (talk) 12:08, 25 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

In view of this article's multiple deletions, I'm not going to unprotect yet. I'll put the deleted text here for you to work on. When you are satisfied that the problems have been addressed, let me know, and if the issues have been dealt with, I'll unprotect so you can recreate jimfbleak (talk) 14:17, 25 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
It's clearly notable, given its turnover and staff numbers. It's not overtly promotional, although I've moved the stock listing to a more appropriate place, and taken out "multitude" Jimfbleak - talk to me? 14:17, 13 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Fine with me, just let me know when you're ready Jimfbleak - talk to me? 06:26, 22 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Two things you need to change "provide solutions" and similar is spammy, since it implies success. Replace "solution" with "products". Embedded external links in the text, of which you have several are another no-no, especially where the link is to a company site. Write it as text with the link as a reference eg extensive partner network should be extensive partner network[1] You will need to add a References section with the {{reflist}} template Jimfbleak - talk to me? 12:03, 24 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

No, citeweb is good. I've done some obvious fixes (doubled double quotes, repeated access dates, pointless red links to publishers, otherwise OK Jimfbleak - talk to me? 10:00, 26 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Should be unprotected now, let me know if any problems Jimfbleak - talk to me? 12:28, 27 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
You could blank the sandbox content, but the Google search will probably bring it up for a while anyway. Jimfbleak - talk to me? 11:55, 28 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Maconomy[edit]

The article Maconomy has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails WP:COMPANY Google News reveals no relevant hits for this company.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. RP459 (talk) 23:44, 25 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Jacobdanstrup. You have new messages at RP459's talk page.
You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template.

Prod[edit]

RP459 seems to be taking a reasonable approach to this, I'll have a look myself tomorrow to see if there is anything I can do. Jimfbleak - talk to me? 20:38, 2 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
