Duplicate images uploaded[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Lagrange simple.jpg. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:Lagrange simple.JPG. The copy called Image:Lagrange simple.JPG has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.

This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone, and you do not need to respond. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and refer to 'my contributions' to remind yourself exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. Staeckerbot 10:00, 14 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Pictures[edit]

Thank you for the very nice pictures at Lagrange multipliers. I have a request. Could you add the source code to the pictures page? That can be rather helpful in the future to recreate them if need be, or to be basis for other pictures. Thanks. You can reply here. Oleg Alexandrov (talk) 15:22, 14 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I will be happy to add the (matlab) source code for the pictures. As the pictures are my first contribution, im not really into the system yet. Is there a specific way I upload the source code, or should I just "edit" the picture page and add a section with the code? Jacobmelgaard 10:31, 18 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, you can just add the source code to the picture page. You could put the code between <pre> and </pre> tags to make it look in the same way as you paste it (so the html renderer does not mess up with it). Thanks! Oleg Alexandrov (talk) 15:05, 18 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Lagrange multipliers images[edit]

Can you reupload the pics from this article to Wikimedia Commons? I'd like to use them at plwiki. 83.30.163.170 13:10, 20 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
