I have seen how you remove information about lumia meaning in Spanish, and/or how it is changed in other ways about Spanish meaning for that word in article http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nokia_Lumia_series.

I can talk about to create a section about this topic, but without proper section I have placed it where Lumia name is described (1st paragraph).

You have deleted definition about RAE (Real Academia Española) and/or changed it by "some dictionaries", but this is inadmissible in Sapnish language because RAE dictionary is official language dictionary. I think this is difficult to understand for some English spoken people because in English there is not an authority like RAE. In some languages (French, Spanish, Italian, German) there are authorities studying and defining proper language usage and in general every cult person speaking those languages accept it, so it is part of the language, specially when those institutions are old in time and its influence has been big and long.

Even in Spanish there is an Association of Spanish Language Academies from 22 countries, and the modern dictionary of RAE is considered a true pan-Hispanic work . Even if you enter the web pages of those Spanish academies you will see that all them uses the RAE dictionary as official. So RAE dictionary is not "an dictionary" but OFFICIAL SPANISH dictionary.

The situations of Spanish and English are very different in this way, and RAE is near 300 years old, so it is part of Spanish language culture long ago.

"Official" or not, it has been recognized as archaic, biased and inaccurate by many reputed scholars. And no matter how official it may be, it can still be misused by malefactors who wish to profit by publishing a story that is sensational but misleading, as this particular case shows quite well. Your AfD on schools

Hello I just wanted to let you know that article on schools, places are rarely deleted. I found Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Chain of Lakes Middle School not good for AfD, it is quite notable because it has some good academic achievements and features. It appears that WP:WPSCH/AG#N specifically states that High Schools are generally assumed notable, but elementary and middle schools are not. This is a middle school article that cites no references. Hi, Jacona. May I make a suggestion? Just be WP:BOLD and blank them, replacing the content with #REDIRECT[[The school district's, or if that doesn't exist, the city's article]], followed by {{r from school}}. Of course, since you have already filed AfD's on the above schools, let them play out (it says right in the AfD template on the page not to blank them), but just for future reference. If someone objects, they can re-instate the article by reverting your redirect edit and then we can go thru all the hoopla. I've done that probably 200 times and have only had to argue like twice. some may meet gng, but there are dozens of drafted players who will never play in a game and who will be long forgotten this time next year who have articles. For every one that I may have pushed a little too hard and they meet gng, there are 50 that don't and need deleting. I came here to impart the same message as Yankees10. As a practical matter, and in my experience, it's counterproductive to seek out articles about newly drafted NFL players for deletion. Until the end of training camp, the media are interested in these players, and readers will come here to find out about them. The great majority of them will receive substantial coverage either before or after the draft or during camp. At a minimum there will always be verifiable information about their high school and college careers. And if they make the team, they're in. So what's the benefit of attacking a verifiable bio whose notability has a strong chance of being established in a matter of a few weeks? A better to time to bring this up is after the season starts: at that point, bios of those players who haven't made a team roster can be examined to see if they meet GNG. --Arxiloxos (talk) 04:57, 22 June 2014 (UTC)

Hi. Just reiterating the advice you've been given above. We don't usually PROD schools. Just blank them, redirect them to their school district article (or locality) while remembering to add the {{R from school}} template to the redirect so that it automatically adds the appropriate message and populates the school redirect cat. The edit to West Pymble, New South Wales I reverted, to which you refer, begain "West Pymble has a large number of Giant Pandas roaming about so be careful and watch out." It is possible that I am mistaken and Giant Pandas are roaming about the landscape. Even if this is true, it would need to be accompanied by a reliable source WP:RS in order to be included in Wikipedia. On the other hand, if Giant Pandas are NOT in fact roaming about West Pymble, my revert of your edits would also be OK, as your edit would have introduced inaccurate information. Lost and found - basketball minds

I'm glad you found your mind. I was wondering why a suggestion for added material should be removed from a talk page. By the way, do you know any-where where this is in fact discussed (I live in Korea, so I don't have access to a library with books about basketball etc.)? As far as books go, can you access abebooks in Korea? Using Advanced search and restricting the maximum year to 1980 yields several books that might be of interest including one titled GIRLS' BASKETBALL / INCLUDING SUMMARY OF THE OFFICIAL RULES (ATHLETIC INSTITUTE SERIES) by Mildred J. I finished editing. What about removing multiple issues note?

At 2012 Mississippi State Bulldogs baseball team, do I just remove the "This article has multiple issues..." note at the top myself. By the way, I felt the reference list was growing almost out of control. Higher up in the article, I summarize some details that can be found at references and links lower down. You can just remove the "multiple issues" templates, be sure and say why you are doing so in the edit summary and it will be fine. As far as the references go, while you are correct that a reference elsewhere can "cover" the whole article, you have to watch out for later editors who either won't notice, or will remove the reference leaving the material vulnerable to deletion. You should be in good shape on this article as you've done a great job and the page will probably wind up being patrolled by Dawg fans, but in general there's no downside to over-referencing and huge upside. Websites change, especially sports sites like sec.com and hailstate.com, resulting in link "rot". In order to keep your material from getting tossed later, try to use the most reliable source you can (national/regional newspapers, books, etc.) and as big a variety of these as you can. On the advice of several people including a sysop, Kudpung กุดผึ้ง and others, rather than wasting people's time by PRODing or AfDing these middle school articles when the vast majority of these articles that are virtually certain to be redirected (or deleted) on AfD, let's be WP:BOLD, blank and redirect these articles that should never have been created in the first place. That is the purpose of WP:SCHOOLOUTCOMES, to be a guideline so you know what is likely to happen and take action appropriately. If you find articles in which you think I'm in error in relying on school outcomes, please feel free to revert my redirect. If you want to accomplish much on Wikipedia (and in life in general) you need to learn to work within certain frameworks. First, assume good faith WP:GOODFAITH. Avoid personal attacks WP:NPA. Learn how things are done and work within the system. For instance, when posting a new topic on someones talk page, always post at the bottom. Otherwise your comments might not be noticed, or might be ignored. As many editors edit a large number of pages, provide a wikilink to the page in question by putting the page name between two pairs of brackets [[]] like this, for instance here is a wikilik to the page in question, DeMarre Carroll. Finally, always sign your comments by typing in four tildes in a row like this ~~~~ Now, in relation to the edit onDeMarre Carroll, it appears that he led them past the Hawks, but they had not yet played the Pacers, so there is no way to be certain what would have happened against the Pacers had there not been injuries. Regis High School (New York City)

You seem to interpret Wikipedia's guideline on notability as if it determined what should be mentioned or excluded from a Wikipedia entry. But the notability guideline is used to determine if a person or topic gets an entry on Wikipedia. We read at WP:N:

"On Wikipedia, notability is a test used by editors to decide whether a given topic warrants its own article." (emphasis added)

It continues:

"These notability guidelines only outline how suitable a topic is for its own article or list. They do not limit the content of an article or list." (emphasis added)

The actual content of an article is often a matter of judgement. In the case of a small local school of no distinction, perhaps the town mayor is a notable alumnus, though s/he would never merit a Wikipedia entry. It's a question of context. List of NAIA conferences

You recently undid two of my edits to the List of NAIA conferences, indicating conference membership changes in 2015 to two conferences. You claimed: "These are all screwed up with predictions of what will happen in the future. Corrected The Sun Conference, it has 12 full members. When that changes, it should be updated, but not before then." ...and... "corrected to current number of members. Next year it may change, but this is not a WP:CRYSTAL ball."

I have been editing both this list and the List of NCAA conferences for several years, and this is how I have always handled any of the announcements of future conference membership changes before they actually happen. These have always been announced well beforehand, and the two edits you specifically undid were announced on the official websites of these conferences:

• Grand View and William Penn: [4]

It is not a WP:CRYSTAL ball if it is an official announcement. I'm also unsure why you picked out only those two edits, and not any of the other similar notes on the NAIA or NCAA conference list which I or others have placed there. Saying these notes are "all screwed up" is basically saying that the style of edits I have been making to Wikipedia for the last few years have also been "all screwed up". Please let me know how wrong I have been, and let me know if there is anything I have been doing that has actually helped Wikipedia in the editing of these articles. Except you didn't need to go back several years to find 14 other notes for future conference changes still showing on the NAIA conference page right now. I would have appreciated if you had messaged me first before beginning to dismantle the work I had been doing on that page. I have limited free time in which to edit Wikipedia, so I would like to know if the time I do spend editing it will be worthwhile. I would certainly like to know why the edits in question are considered a violation of WP:CRYSTAL when there have been official announcements of these changes and displaying the information this way has not been an issue on Wikipedia in the past. Thank you for restoring my edits to the NAIA conference list. Sorry if I took a harsh tone in my previous posts to your talk page. I tend to get defensive as an initial reaction to a lot of situations. I will try to be more constructive and calmer in the future when talking to other Wikipedians. marvell academy

Hi, was wondering why part of my edit was deleted: The school is open to the public and is supported voluntarily by families who use their services and by people who value their mission, their product, and their place in the community. Independent schools operate independently of taxpayer funding and exercise the freedom to pursue missions that they believe best serve their unique constituencies and support their values. It was taken directly from the MAIS website of which Marvell Academy is a member. I've never written/edited anything on wikipedia before so I'm new.
