Proposed deletion of Bop rock[edit]

The article Bop rock has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Appears to be a neologism. No sources, and nothing that isn't already covered in Jazz fusion (or the Jazz-rock section therein). This could be turned into a redirect to that article, except that the term isn't really used in any notable context.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Hi, I'm Mduvekot. Jakob9999, thanks for creating 70's revival!

The article Football music has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Essay or something made up by the article creator. I couldn't find any reliable sources for the concept as described here.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, introducing inappropriate pages, such as Zoo music, is not in accordance with our policies. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Under section G3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, the page has been nominated for deletion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. ‡ Єl Cid of ᐺalencia ᐐT₳LKᐬ 03:50, 17 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not create, maintain or restore hoaxes on Wikipedia. Hoaxes are eligible for speedy deletion under criterion G3. If you are interested in how accurate Wikipedia is, a more constructive test method would be to try to find inaccurate statements that are already in Wikipedia — and then to correct them if possible. Please do not disrupt Wikipedia. Feel free to take a look at the five pillars of Wikipedia to learn more about this project and how you can contribute constructively. Thank you. ‡ Єl Cid of ᐺalencia ᐐT₳LKᐬ 03:50, 17 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Jakob9999. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Soul metal, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

  1. edit the page
  2. remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. save the page

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

TimothyJosephWood 18:03, 30 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

And adding it to the soul music article isn't particularly helpful as it still doesn't contain a single reference. There is enough there for a stand-alone article, but only if you can find sources for the content. Walter Görlitz (talk) 19:18, 30 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Final Warning[edit]

Looking through your talk page, (and block log), it looks like you've got a long history with creating unsourced articles, and making unsourced additions to pre-existing articles. You've had far too many chances at this point - this needs to stop now. If there's any more instances of this, your account will receive a lengthy block. If you have questions, let me know. But proceeding as you have been, is not acceptable. Thanks. Sergecross73 msg me 20:08, 30 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

You ignored my warning, didn't ask any questions, and instead proceeded to add unsourced content to an article. As such, you are blocked for 2 weeks. Sergecross73 msg me 23:52, 5 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Just so you know about changing genre's[edit]

Thank you for discussing genres first as you did at Joe Walsh. Changing genre's without providing a source or establishing a consensus, or to suit your own point of view are considered disruptive. - FlightTime (open channel) 00:57, 22 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Bedroom music requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about something invented/coined/discovered by the article's creator or someone they know personally, and it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time.

If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.
