Tiger[edit]

I have removed your "citation needed" tag from the lead section of Tiger. The lead is supposed to be a summary of the rest of the article. The maximum weight of a tiger in the wild is mentioned and cited in the main text and therefore it does not need to be cited in the lead. In fact we are encouraged not to cite anything in the lead because there should be no information there that is not included in the rest of the article. Is chess a sport?[edit]

I see that you changed the Chess article from saying chess is a game to saying it is a sport. I have started a discussion at the Wikipedia Reference Desk regarding the classification of chess at Wikipedia:Reference desk/Humanities#Is chess a sport or a game? Sorry, I have been busy and I didn't see your message until now. I just wanted to say that some board games are recognized as sports. In particular, chess is considered both a board game and a sport, it's not a contradiction. Chess is recognized as a sport by the Consejo Superior de Deportes (the Spanish Government organisation for regulating the development of sport in Spain), and the International Olympic Committee (this organization also admits bridge as a sport) James343e (talk) 23:11, 32 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Citation templates[edit]

Please consider using citation templates for placing citations in wikimarkup. This helps to give a consistent look & feel to citations, & I believe it will aid in the eventual transfer of this data to Wikidata. We're not doing the latter yet, but eventually it will come.

You can also use VisualEditor to create citations by using the Citoid automatic option.

1. My changes were good and there was no need to remove them - you did it nastily. If you want to talk to me something - you can do this on my discussion page, not there. 2. They changed information about CR during the match, but did't change dates and they were making a mess. There is a simple rule - this type of change is done after the match, not during. And while I applaud your efforts to make sense of it, the current consensus is for Tiger versus lion because, and I am not joking, tigers are bigger (per the talk archives.) Anyway, the page should be deleted but it won’t be because it’s someone who has a recognizable name’s pet page. I only reverted you because otherwise there would be people mad. Anyway, if you want to try to improve the title WP:RM is the way to go. Don’t try to rename it as a comparison article, though, because it’s explicitly about who would win in a fight 🙄.
