  • James, Brian Boruff will have to conform to the guidelines set for WP articles in general and biographies of living persons in particular. That means, basically, that every statement in the article will have to be verified, in-line, with a reference to a reliable source. Press releases etc. are not sufficient. I have found that the person is notable (according to WP:N--or I would have asked for its deletion) and that there are plenty of references on the internet--but such references will have to be added to the article. On how to do proper in-line citations, see WP:CITE. The first place to go for guidelines and editing help is WP:BLP. I'll be glad to answer specific questions as you are working on the article. Thank you, and good luck, Drmies (talk) 21:45, 24 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Brian Boruff has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unable to find evidence of significant coverage in reliable sources, the requirement of the general notability guideline.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Ucucha 21:23, 26 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
