Thank you.

A tag has been placed on User:Jamie.chen/Poh Heng Jewellery, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be unambiguous advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of User:Jamie.chen/Poh Heng Jewellery and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from independent reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Mean as custard (talk) 08:16, 10 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Response to help request[edit]

Jamie, have you had a look at Wikipedia:Tutorial yet? It has some basic information on editing and use of talk pages. I have also placed a template on your draft to let editors know it is being worked on; it won't get deleted for the time being. Someguy1221 (talk) 08:32, 10 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you thank you! i have been going through the help page and wizard but it doesnt seem to make any sense to me as I am bad at codes and stuff. but thanks! will try again.

You can find the page at User:Jamie.chen/Poh_Heng_Jewellery. You can always find it by clicking on "my contributions" on the top right. It will show up several times in the list. Is there anything else particular you're having trouble with? Someguy1221 (talk) 08:45, 10 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you. i think I might have to re-read the entire wizard and tutorial to start all over again. thank you! Jamie.chen (talk) 08:47, 10 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

There is little wrong with the layout of the article. The big problem is that it reads like one long advertisement and would need to be COMPLETELY rewritten. . . Mean as custard (talk) 08:48, 10 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Okay thank you! so when there is a userspace draft thing posted on top, when i am editing, should i click on save the page, will it undo the draft-icon? shuold i continue working on that space and just save it everytime i edit? Jamie.chen (talk) 08:51, 10 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

As long as you don't touch the bit that says {{userspace draft}}, it will stay. But as Custard said just above me, the article needs a lot of improvement. Articles should be written precisely as reliable sources (newspapers, magazines, etc) describe the company, and not as the company describes itself. Thanks for all the tips!
