Help request[edit]

I have a problem with an article, although the correct information of the plant itself is right it 's heading is wrong. It's the topic The Worlds Largest Flower Rafflesia arnoldii is not the world's largest flower. I didn't want to make such dramatic changes to an article without peer support or a second pair of eyes on the subject. I would like to write the correct article on the world's true largest flower. Amorphophallus . Any feedback on this is greatly appreciated. thank you Jamie LaDawn (talk) 19:06, 26 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The general principle (see WP:BOLD, revert, discuss cycle) is that if you see a change you think would improve the encyclopedia, you should be bold and make it, and see if anyone objects. But with an important change like this, I think you are right to ask first. Two suggestions, which I should try in this order:
  • From the page history (which you can see by clicking "View history" at the top, user Mgiganteus1 (talk · contribs) is interested in this article and has edited other flower articles - ask his/her advice
  • There is WP:WikiProject Plants, a group of editors interested in botany - look at their page and post on the talk page, or maybe the talk page of a sub-project if there is a more relevant one.
