30 Rock

Hey, nice job with "Fireworks", some great info there. Are you going to nom. it for GA status? It's good enough. Corn.u.co.pia / Disc.us.sion 03:10, 17 August 2008 (UTC)

Re. 30 Rock, well I don't see why not. It is pretty good at the moment, maybe some additional info and more refs. Other than that, is there anything you want to improve? Corn.u.co.pia / Disc.us.sion 08:30, 20 August 2008 (UTC)

OK, well we could ask someone to copyedit the article. Worth a try. Corn.u.co.pia / Disc.us.sion 10:09, 20 August 2008 (UTC)

Hi, I have seen your GA review, and fixed all of the problems with the article, with the exception of one thing. The one thing is the citations in the intro. There is no part in the policy you stated that says citations in the intro are not allowed, they are merely not required. I personally would like to see the citations stay, so can that be classified as done? Thanks for reviewing it.--LAAFan 14:59, 25 August 2008 (UTC)

Well done on the FAC of the pilot. It's hard work, I know, but it is almost there. Sorry I haven't been around to help much, I'm quite busy nowadays with other stuff, both within and outside of wikiP. I'll try to stay involved, and have you heard? Jennifer Aniston from Friends is guest starring in season 3! Corn.u.co.pia / Disc.us.sion 02:32, 30 August 2008 (UTC)

And have you realised that "Succession (30 Rock)" has been reviewed. I would love to help, but I haven't seen the episode and I don't want to spoil it for myself. Corn.u.co.pia / Disc.us.sion 02:55, 30 August 2008 (UTC)
Sorry I wasn't able to help with "The Fighting Irish". I had lost my computer for a couple of days, and thus wasn't able to help. Good job on getting it to GA though. Corn.u.co.pia / Disc.us.sion 13:17, 3 September 2008 (UTC)

Oxford Wikimania 2010 and Wikimedia UK v2.0 Notice

Hi,

As a regularly contributing UK Wikipedian, we were wondering if you wanted to contribute to the Oxford bid to host the 2010 Wikimania conference. Please see here for details of how to get involved, we need all the help we can get if we are to put in a compelling bid.

We are also in the process of forming a new UK Wikimedia chapter to replace the soon to be folded old one. If you are interested in helping shape our plans, showing your support or becoming a future member or board member, please head over to the Wikimedia UK v2.0 page and let us know. We plan on holding an election in the next month to find the initial board, who will oversee the process of founding the company and accepting membership applications. They will then call an AGM to formally elect a new board who after obtaining charitable status will start the fund raising, promotion and active support for the UK Wikimedian community for which the chapter is being founded.

You may also wish to attend the next London meet-up at which both of these issues will be discussed. If you can't attend this meetup, you may want to watch Wikipedia:Meetup, for updates on future meets.

We look forward to hearing from you soon, and we send our apologies for this automated intrusion onto your talk page!

Corporate Crush - GA Hold

Thanks for doing some great work on this article and nominating it for WP:GAC. Cornucopia (talk · contribs) has some some further work on the article, and pretty much the only area that really could use more work is the Production section, and then the WP:LEAD section could be adjusted accordingly afterwards. Do you think you could add any sourced information in the Production section to balance out the Saturday Night Live cast stuff? While that stuff is interesting, it seems more to be something that is ubiquitous to 30 Rock, and not unique to that one episode. Cheers, Cirt (talk) 04:14, 7 September 2008 (UTC)

What's up with this article, do you think you need some more time to work on the points from the GA review? There really aren't that many things I had raised in the review so I'll give you a bit more time if you need it. Cirt (talk) 05:27, 14 September 2008 (UTC)

30 Rock (season 2)

Hey, long time no see! :D I think it's been a while since we last collaborated. I was thinking, if you aren't busy with the third season, maybe we make season two a good topic. The main page is already a featured list; all we have to do is get all the episodes up to GA status. If you want to try, could you create a page for "Cougars"? I'll start working on all the episodes that aren't good articles yet, and get them up to scratch. What do you think? Corn.u.co.pia / Disc.us.sion 11:43, 24 November 2008 (UTC)

Cool. I'm starting my work on the other episodes right now, but I'll probably go to bed soon. Corn.u.co.pia / Disc.us.sion 11:53, 24 November 2008 (UTC)
Almost there. "The Collection (30 Rock)" is a GAN. I have been working on "Cooter (30 Rock)", and it is almost there. Could you upload a screenshot? Thanks, Corn.u.co.pia / Disc.us.sion 14:42, 25 November 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for the pictures. I added some reviews and production info for the "Cougars" page, good? Corn.u.co.pia / Disc.us.sion 07:56, 26 November 2008 (UTC)
Yay, almost done. Once "Cougars" and "Cooter" are listed as GAs, we can nominate the season for GT. It's actually quite an accomplishment we have made, just a while ago they were all redirected stubs, now nearly all the articles are GAs. Well done. Corn.u.co.pia / Disc.us.sion 00:42, 29 November 2008 (UTC)

Cool. I don't think the topic will have any problems, so hopefully it has a smooth candidacy. Corn.u.co.pia / Disc.us.sion 04:05, 3 December 2008 (UTC)

However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:04, 1 December 2008 (UTC)
