Even if the information was correct, it was still problematic because you did not cite your sources. If you do not cite your sources, Wikipedia readers do not have any way of directly checking whether the information you write is true. I see where you're coming from, but Wikipedia's policy is that the burden lies on the contributor adding information to an article to provide the sources which support it. If you choose not to do this, then you are inconveniencing readers by forcing them to find where you got the information themselves, or worse, you are leaving the reader confused as to where the information came from, which may cause them to doubt what you write. See Wikipedia:Verifiability for more information about this policy. If you cannot agree to this policy, then I'm afraid we cannot let you continue editing here.
