Another welcome from me, Janet. I hope you have fun editing Wikipedia. All the best! -- Ssilvers (talk) 04:58, 19 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I see you have added a mention of a novel featuring (?) Elgar. There is a section in the article where such references can fruitfully be added and briefly described – please do dive in! Happy to lend a hand if wanted. (I have temporarily hidden the book ref in the bibiography pro tem). Tim riley (talk) 16:40, 18 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks Tim - I'm learning! Quite difficult at first to fit in with protocalsJanetTennant (talk) 16:47, 18 November 2010 (UTC) Protocols! I can spell, honestlyJanetTennant (talk) 16:48, 18 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Note the colons to indent each new thread. Wikipedia is clunky here and there, but once you get used to it, it's great! As for protocals/protocols etc, you are at liberty to go in and correct typos etc, though the earlier version will lurk in the archives. Tim riley (talk) 16:59, 18 November 2010 (UTC) Later: I've added a line about the novel to the memorials section of the text. Tim riley (talk) 17:22, 18 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Your submission at Articles for creation[edit]

Thank you for submitting an article to Wikipedia. Your submission has been reviewed and has been put on hold pending clarification or improvements from you or other editors. Please take a look and respond if possible. You can find it at Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Keith Alldritt. If there is no response within twenty-four hours the request may be declined; if this happens feel free to continue to work on the article. You can resubmit it (by adding the text {{subst:AFC submission/submit}} to the top of the article) when you believe the concerns have been addressed. Thank you. I have left comments in the appropriate places, and will, if I can, ride to the rescue. Tim riley (talk) 12:21, 20 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Janet, you can cite most published sources. Here is a description of WP:Reliable sources. Just make sure the citation gives all the important info, like author name, name of the article/book, page number or url, publisher name/city and date, plus access date if it is a web source. See WP:CITE. Best regards! -- Ssilvers (talk) 15:45, 20 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Never fear! I'll show you how in the next day or so. Tim riley (talk) 16:15, 20 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
