Roller girls[edit]

Hi, Janet. Not sure what you mean by "approved", the article had been tagged for speedy deletion. The difference from the articles you linked were that those articles were less spammy and had independent references, not just your own website.

  • From modest origins,..., and the league has gone from strength to strength ever since unsourced spammy claim
  • ARRG is keen to promote fun, fitness, equality and friendship for women of all ages (over 18), who are interested in trying something new and exciting. unsourced WP:OR and spammy claim
  • Although all of the members are unique in their own way unsourced spammy claim
  • they have a shared goal in seeking continuous improvement in their sport and they are committed to democratic principles, teamwork and sportswomanship. They encourage diversity and self expression, and above all value the fun of taking part in roller derby bouts all over the UK and hopefully further afield. unsourced spammy claim
  • They have skated against some of the best unsourced spammy claim
  • with a very respectable placing unsourced spammy claim
  • ARRG are keen to form close relationships with other leagues throughout the world. unsourced speculation
  • ARRG has developed a strong identity within the roller derby community and is keen to create and maximise opportunities for promoting awareness of the sport and encouraging new people to come along and join them. ARRG are always keen to accept new members, whether they want to join the teams or learn to referee and get fit in the process, they’ll be happy to have them - male refs are more than welcome to join them too. Pure promotion

So, am I able to re do the page if I were to do it in the correct way? As I am new to Wikipedia I was unaware of that particular detail. It is very possible for this page to be completely re-written to be 'unspammy' with direct references to newspaper articles if that is allowed. Also, I had already been talking to another administrator regarding the page who had then appeared to have taken off the 'speedy deletion' tag as I had contested. Thank you, Janet (Janetzillah (talk) 14:07, 26 December 2009 (UTC))[reply]

Yes, it's not even necessary to reference everything, if the facts are indisputable, but some of the items I've listed are just non-neutral opininons. If you say the league has gone from strength to strength ever since it's pov, if a reputable source like The Times says the same, that's fine as long as referenced Jimfbleak - talk to me? 15:17, 26 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
