August 2010[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Wilsons of Sharrow has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. I removed the following link(s): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VWell5azsms/, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mMN0kxUKX5c&NR=1/. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. a sound or video file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy and therefore probably should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 10:53, 1 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of William Goldring, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.parksandgardens.ac.uk/component/option,com_parksandgardens/task,person/id,551/Itemid,292. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.)

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 08:07, 2 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on William Goldring requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. elektrikSHOOS 08:25, 2 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Mi Amigo (disambiguation) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unremarkable Word War II plane crash among tens of thousands of fallen wartime aircraft. According to the BBC archive news piece cited: "More than 40 other aircraft, and more than 400 other airmen of the Mighty 8th, were lost on that very same day. No single tragedy could merit special attention. All of the telegrams were brief."

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Kudpung (talk) 09:28, 6 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Mi amigo air crash, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Your contributed article, Mi amigo air crash[edit]

Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will to continue helping improve Wikipedia. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Kudpung (talk) 10:33, 6 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Janus. Could you please stop creating new pages about the Mi amigo air crash. It will probably be deleted anyway.--Kudpung (talk) 10:37, 6 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Mi Amigo air crash (1943) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Articles creation[edit]

Please stop re-creating the same article with different names you are just creating work for everybody and it does not add value to the encyclopedia. If you re-create the article again you may have your editing rights restricted. Thanks. MilborneOne (talk) 19:06, 6 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Sheffield to Hathersage Turnpike, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://www.bitterapplephotography.blogspot.com.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. Nether Edge[edit]

Hi, I've re-added junction road to the Nether Edge article. Its inclusion was not an error—there is more than one Junction Road in Sheffield (see [1]). —Jeremy (talk) 13:08, 14 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Sharrow[edit]

Hi, in the article Sharrow you mention Sharrow Brook. I have been unable to find sources that mention such a brook. Is it possible Sharrow Brook is in fact Porter Brook which borders Sharrow to the North? Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons 17:49, 25 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
